Chapter 12
I havent been shopping since i was 15, so it all seemed so new to me. This place was huge! Perrie suggested that we just start at one end and work our way down to the other end. She's got some good thinking going on in her brain. I needed a new swimsuit so thats where we went first. i walked in and immediately felt self concious. There were so many bikinis and i was nervous to try any of them on. I found this cute red bikini with white poka dota and stripes. After Perrie and Eleanor practically shoved me into the dressing room , i figured i might as well try it on. I felt so fat, but the bathing suit was so adorable. This was a moment when i needed Harry to tell me how i looked. I stepped out to show Perrie and Eleanor and they were shocked. "Daamn! I knew you were pretty, but honey your hot,"Perrie snapped her fingers and Eleanor shook her head in agreement. I looked over to see that even the cashier was gushing over me. This suit was too cute to not get, so i bought it eventhough i was still skeptical. We left that store and wandered until Danielle remonded us of something we really needed. "Dont forget we need dresses for tonight!" I was lost. "what's tonight?" Perrie stepped next to me so she could answer."We are all going out to dinner." "Oh! ok" Well now it makes sense. We ran into the nearest dress store an dgot down to buisness. Once we had about 10 dresses each we took turns modling each dress. Perrie decided on a form fitting black dress with gold designs going down the sides. She akso got black heeled boots to match. Eleanor chose a yellow satin dress, about knee length, strapless, and yellow heels to match. Danielle picked a tight red dress with lace at the top of it and bright red heels to match. The dress was mid thigh and looked amazing on her. Now it was my turn. I hated every dress i put on except the last one. I was in love. The dress was mint green and skin tight, which accented my curves perfectly. It had long sleeves covered in lace and it was about mid thigh. Paired with a cute pair of mint green heels. "Hot" "sexy" "Wow" i guess the girls liked it. I got dressed and we bought our dinner outfits. Aftera few more stores i got hungry so we decided to stopo for lunch. After we ordered out food, i got my faorite caesar salad, The cahier winked at me. He was around my age with blue eyes and blonde hair. I didnt wasnt o be rude, so i just smiled. He handed me his number and thats when i had to say something. "sorry, but no." I crumpled the napkin it was written on and threw it away. Perrie looked floored,"Why did you do that?" Danielle jumped in next "yea he was cute!" I did have to admit he was cute, but nothing compared to Harry. "girls, why would Ruby want him? She has Harry!" Eleanor gave me a cheeky grin while i turned red like a tomatoe. I looked down at my food and played with it. Harry wasnt mine, btu god i wish he was. They didnt let me get away with the silence very long. Danielle stepped up and asked the dreaded question, "whats going on with you and Harry anyway?" My breath hitched. everytime they said his name i got butterflies. When i regained my breath i tried explaining. "I dont know. I like him so much, but he would never like me." I frowned cause it was true. He could have any girl he wanted why me? "Ruby, you can see it in his eyes that he likes you, and your so beautiful and sweet. He would be stupid not to like you!" Eleanor's little speech made me smile. She was like the mom that always knew how to make someone feel better. I really hope he likes me as much as i like him. It started getting late and we needed time to get ready, so we headed home. The ride home we belted songs and talked about Harry and I. The boys got pushed into one room while we got dressed in different rooms. We need a lot of space for our stuff. Eleanor said she would help me get ready. That means more Harry talk. Well tonight shoudl be eventful with the load of us. I can only imagine.
