Here's the story
of a little girl
who lost her mommy
She was nearly 7 years old
End of the first day for the first grade
Her mommy waiting for her right by her truck
Overly enjoyed by seeing her best friend,
She trips, fall's & scrapes her little knee.
"Mommy, mommyyyy!", she sobs holding her leg
Her mommy runs over to her baby girl
Sweeps her in her arms
Comforts her like only a mommy could
Wipes her tears as they slide down her cheeks
"Everythings going to be alright baby",
she whispers softly
*
Eight years later
*
"Don't you think you should call her? I mean it's kinda mothers day.." Her friend stated
"Nah, it's fine. I'll call her later"
The fifteen year old mama's girl responded
*
Three days later
{Just arrived home with grandma & dad from the airport}
*
Daddy & grandma gathered the three beautiful children
Into the living room
"You're mother passed away last night"
Daddy whispered as a tear rolled down his cheek
Suddenly, knees week
Her breathing quickens it's pace
Falling to the ground
Heart torn apart
Mommy can't leave
She's all the her little baby girl had
& loved
The little girl needs her mommy
I need my mommy
Now when the little girl calls to hear her mommys soothing voice,
To feel comfort & security talking to her mommy,
She won't answer the phone
Anymore
