Stop and Stare
Chapter 1
"Hey, are you okay?" a strange voice said
When I stood up I didn't know where i was. It was cold, when i could see i saw my snowmobile crushed by a tree.
"Where am I?"
Him "I'm not so sure myself" he laughed.
He had those sad brown eyes, he was tall, I had never seen him before.
I smiled, "I'm Blake, and before you ask no i'm not a guy."
His eyes sparkled, " I'm Ian, and yes i'm a guy". He thought he was funny.
At that moment reality hit me, i was stuck in a place i didn't know, my snowmobiles broke, and I have no way of getting back to my cottage, and great my phone died.
"I know you barely know me, but could I use your phone?"
Him, " Yeah no problem"
When I took his phone I saw his screensaver was of a little baby,I thought that was so cute.
Me, " thanks."
When I tried to call everyone i knew I gave up. What was a suppose to do?
Him, "hey do you need a ride I could drive you back to my cabin and you can try and call there?
I was about to say no, I mean I barely know him, but something inside me said there was no other way. Me, "really are you sure thats okay?"
Him, "Yeah it's fine no ones there anyways."
I just bit my lip
Him smiling, "Come on its not that far, and i'll come back and pick your snowmobile up"
Me, " okay fine, just promise me your not a murder or a rapist or something"
Him laughing, " I promise Blake."
I sat on the snowmobile not knowing what to think, I put on my helmet and I didn't know where to hang on.
Ian, "Don't worry I don't have any disease either, you can put your hands around me."
Me, "okay, sorry"
He was warm, It was funny the way he turned but he was a good driver, and he smelled good.
When we went down a back road I was kind of scared but I knew he was taking me to his cabin.
We finally got off after 10 minutes. He lived in a nice log cabin that had alot of land, and I could tell he was rich.
Ian, "Hey do you want some hot choclate?"
Me, " sure I'd love some."
When we got into his cabin it was a living room, it was just me and him. So i started to take off my boots, pants, and jacket. he did too.
Me, "Ian could I use your bathroom?"
Him, " Yeah sure down the hall to the left."
I went into the bathroom and I was all red, so i washed my face. when I got out he was making the hot cholcalate.
I called my dad he finally answered and I told him all about what happened. He said he would be there in 10 mintues.
We drank our hot cholcalte and we talked about alot in 20 minutes.
When my dad came Ian went and answered the door.
My Dad, " is blake here?"
Ian, " yeah shes right her, sir.
My dad, " well thanks for giving her a ride."
Him, no problem."
as I was just about the leave and my dad was alread on the snowmobile.
Ian, "Hey Blake I'm going to the race tonight do you wanna meet me their at 6?"
Me, " yeah sure I was planning on going, meet me at the bar next door?"
Ian," okay sounds good, I can't wait." he smiled.
I was on my way back to the cottage and all I did was replay the day over and over again.
