I guess I don't see how he said he wants your dead and wants to change you. He said that he wouldn't want to change anything about me. Her change your problams (whatever they may be) if he could. I think that's more of a nice thing for him to say. He wants your to be happy and for your problams to go away. Maybe your should try not to over analyze everything. That might help. At 8, i went to give him a hug. He responded by patting me on the back.
At 9, i proudly went up to him and informed him that i had gotten straight a's on my report card. Again. He congratulated me by telling me that was what was expected in this family.
At 10, i asked whether i could play call of duty with him. He responded by sneering and saying that i could if i were a boy.
At 11, i asked him for more privacy. He told me he never got privacy as a child, so why should i?
At 12, i told him i had perfect grades all through middle school. He told me that didnt matter and that i needed to get more fit, be more social, start a sport, and join a club.
At 13, i got caught cutting. He sat me down and screamed at me about how he couldn't care less about whether i cut or not, and that would never change how he treated me. He put me in a chokehold until i was screaming begging for him to stop.
And here i am wishing for a father like the one in this quote.

my dad died when I was 4 so I don't even remember him. I think the quote is nice though. reply

Why are people hating on this quote? Who cares if it's jocked? some people (i.e. me) haven't seen it before. and I dont know my dad, but i was able to get past that point and still found it nice and touching, I didnt use it as a way to critisize. And she doesn't know who's dad has died, it's not like she intended to insult or offend anyone. what difference does any of that stuff make, it was a good qoute, jocked or not, relevant to you or not, no need to be nasty. It's classes as bullying. just stop. reply

i babysit for these two girls ages 10 and 6 and their daddy died yesterday. they will never have him there to walk them up the aisle, and don't have many memories. please pray for emma & abby. ♥ reply
