   but also the longest you'll do
   there are good times & bad, happy & sad
   and moments that will forever be with you.
   so far my life has gone pretty well,
   ive had some hardships
   but then, who hasnt?
   but somehow, now the iceburg is about to tip.
   i lost everything on that fateful day.
   you told me we were over, done, through,
   you broke my heart in half,
   split it right in two.
   i know its wrong, but i just cant stop
   its been months since ive last seen you
   months since we last spoke,
   but somehow, someway the scar is still new
   the way you make me feel
   its honestly quite scary
   i would do anything, absolutely anything
   just to have you love me.
   and maybe this is wishful thinking
   but then again, maybe someday you will see
   i never wanted to feel like this

   we were inseperable
   and now...now we barely even talk
   what happened...?
   high school.
   i lost my best friends and im all alone now
   lost in a sea of people...
   im surrounded by people..but ive never felt so alone
   i know no one
   sure ive made a few friends but..
   but no they dont know me
   they dont know every tiny detail
   and i dont always like them
   we dont always get along
   but when i was with you guys...
   it was nothing but laughs
   and fun
   and memories
   i miss you
   all of you.

   Chapter Six

   they called me down to the principals office where i saw matt & mrs. nichols.
   "uh-oh," i thought, "this cant be anythng good." they both looked extrmely sad. matt came over and held "w-whats going on? wh-what happened?" i stuttered.
   "rach," matt began, "Rachel, im so sorry." i was flipping out now.
   "will someone please tell me whats going on?!"
   "Rachel," Mrs. Nichols started, "Rachel, your-your mom is-is....."
   "IS WHAT?!" i shouted, pulling away from Matt.
   "Sick, Rach. shes really sick, like fatally ill. baby, im so sorry," Matt said as he pulled me back in. i let him this time
   "We-well its okay, right...? i mean people get 'fatally ill' all the time right? doctors save them right?"
   Matt sighed, "Rachel, love, it...i mean....she can...no, baby. im-im so sorry. babe, she wont live past the end of next week."
   i looked upat the truly heartbroken look in his eyes & started to cry.
   "b-b-bu-but.......she...cant....s-shes....m-my.....mom!"
   Matt just held me as i cried. Mrs. Nichold told us to get into the car while she waited for Paige and Stacy then we could all drive down and see my mom. i followed Matt ouside. We waited in the very back seat of his mom's mini-van. I just cried into Matt's shoulder. He kissed the top of my head. I needed to get my mind of things, so I leaned up and kissed him. By the time everyone else got to the car we..uhm..well we were not in an appropriate position... Paige cleared her throat and we pulled apart to see everyone tear-streaked faces.
   When we got to the hospital, I went in to see my mom. i looked over at the bed and saw her face. It was evident she had been crying. I thenran over to her.
   "Mom!"
   "Racehl, its fine. Everythings ok!"
   "But you-you..the sickness..?"
   "They made a mistake," she said, "I dont know how the hell they did, but they did. And I have some very big news!"

   she walked in;
   &he wore a grin.
   she saw him &smiled;
   he said stay for a while.
   she knodded and sat;
   he knew it was his turn at bat.
   she told him about her;
   &he asked her to supper.
   she said yes;

   she looking into his eyes;
   &he kissed her,no surprise.
