Chapter 13. Justin Bieber:
The hotel in San Francisco was really nice, the inside looked like a palace. I held Kim close to me, one arm wrapped over her shoulders, and holding her hand. We waited for Scooter to check us in, and from the front doors I saw police, barricades, and like 20 fans. I grabbed Kenny,
"Hey, can we go out and see fans? There aren't a lot, and police are tight."
"I dunno. Ask Scooter, but I'm up for it." He smiled, and ruffled my hair like he always did. I flipped it back into place and walked up to Scooter,
"Hey, me, Kim, and Kenny are gonna go out and see fans. There are only like, twenty."
"Alright, be careful. Here's a key." Scooter handed me a card to the room and walked down the hall with our luggage. I pulled my arm off of Kim and just held her left hand, so our writing hands were both free to autograph. Kenny opened the door and let the police know we were coming out. Girls screamed as Kim and I spun through the revolving door. We signed pictures, shoes, and other things. Kim and I both took pictures with the fans, for about 15 minutes. But when I was about to go inside, Kim pulled at my hand and made me stop,
"Wait, hold on," She said, walking back to the fans. I looked at what she was doing, and smiled when I saw. There was a little girl, maybe four, no taller than the barricade. She was crying. Kim kneeled on the ground in front of the girl and smiled, the little girl wiped her eyes and a smile burst across her face. I headed over to Kim and heard her say,
"Hi, sweetie. I'm Kim, you're very pretty. I like your shirt. You like Justin Bieber too?" The girl nodded and handed Kim a notebook and a purple pen.
"Hey, who's this?" I asked, squatting next to Kim, and smiling at the girl. She looked at me in amazement, "Hi! What's your name?" I asked.
"Kerri. K-E-R-R-I," She squealed.
"Really?" Kim said, writing in the girls' notebook, "That's my little sister's name. But she spells it differently." Kerri smiled, and Kim handed me the notebook. I flipped a page and signed my name, along with "Kerri: Always dream big, never say never! Love, Justin Bieber." Then, before I could look up, Kim was talking to the mother, I couldn't make out what she was saying, then I realized as Kim leaned over the barricade and picked Kerri up over it, and rested her on her hip.
"Would you like a picture with us, sweetie?" Kerri nodded, overjoyed, I joined them and wrapped my arm around Kim, with Kerri in the middle. The mom took a picture and Kim handed Kerri back.
"Thank you, both, so much. This has been Kerri's dream since she first heard you sing," The mom said to me.
"You're welcome, I live to make my fans happy." I said,
"Look, Mommy," Kerri said, "I'm wearing Kim's boyfriend on my shirt." I laughed, so did Kim. I leaned back over the barricade and kissed Kerri's cheek. She turned four different shades of pink,
"Oh boy!" Kim laughed, "I've got competition." We smiled, and waved as we headed back into the hotel.
"You're amazing." I said, wrapping Kim up in my arms while we waited for the elevator.
"You're amazing-er" She said. I leaned down and kissed her. She smiled, and turned so her back melted into my chest. I wrapped my arms around her again and held her hands from behind. She was so short, I could easily see over her. We went into the elevator and up to the pent house floor. Kenny, Ryan, Kim, and I were in the penthouse and everyone else was in suites. When we walked in, it reminded me of Connecticut,
"Wow... This looks exactly like Hartford." Kim exclaimed, apparently thinking the same thing.
"I was just thinking that, except now we don't have to go through conjoined doors to see each other." I winked, and kissed the top of her head.
We watched movies, ate all kinds of food, and played video games until around three. Then Scooter came in to set up the game plan.
Oh, right, I thought, I'm on tour... Not vacation.
