okay this same exact thing happened to me. i liked a guy for three years, finally told my best friend. two weeks later theyre going out. i cried for three nights straight. well eventually she up with him, and messed things up BIG time. i waited and waited until i found out he thought i was pretty and was gunna ask me out. good things happen to people who wait! but be careful if you do go out with him. my best friend kept flirting with him and taking him away from me, i got so fed up and broke up with him, because he too was flirting back. i regret doing it so much :/
