but people infer that it is wrong and disgusting. if you really read it is saying it is not good for creation. wrong for that. nobody should be told they cant be who they are because of a book that states many other things that
nobody follows. why arent the 7 deadly sins illegal?

Yes, you can make a case for homosexuality not being wrong according to the Bible.

Homosexuality is sort of mentioned in four places:

1. Genesis. Sodom and Gomorrah are destroyed, but it is not at all clear that homosexuality is the reason, and that's kind of a modern revisionist view. In Ezekiel, God says that the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah was inhospitality: "She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. They were haughty and did detestable things before me.""

2. Leviticus. God says that homosexuality is an abomination. But he also says that eating shrimp is an abomination, and that wearing clothes made of more than one fabric is an abomination. Most Christians believe that Leviticus is part of the "old covenant" and that the sacrifice of Jesus means we don't have to follow all those weird laws.

3. Romans. Paul suggests that if you turn away from God, you run the risk of feeling for people of the same and commiting "indecent acts" with them. But that's not the same thing as saying "homosexuality is wrong."

4. Corinthians. Paul lists a bunch of kinds of people who won't inherit the kingdom of heaven. One of the words he lists is a word meaning "effeminate" and another means "male temple prostitutes." So Paul has a problem with weak, feminine men, and with male prostitutes, but, again, he doesn't specifically condemn homosexuality in general.

Those are the only vague hints about homosexuality in the Bible - but the Bible does say very explicitly, over and over, to love your neighbor and not to judge them. Discrimination against gays seems to fly in the face of those commands.

"You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things." - Romans 2:1

EDIT: I want to add one more argument. To the extent that Paul does disapprove of homosexuality, he disapproves of and all premarital and extramarital with equal force. There's no evidence that Paul had any stronger condemnation for a gay man than, say, a man who sleeps with a girl on the first date.

Paul specifically says in 1 Corinthians 7 that the best path to salvation is to remain unmarried and celibate, and that those who have extramarital with burn with . And although he does not condemn marriage, he says that any sexual relationship - even a marriage - distracts people from the affairs of heaven and causes people to focus, to their spiritual detriment, on the affairs of the world.
