thank you so much, you've helped a ton. It's just real heavy poetry, I don't really like it either... I tought maybe the meaning was worth looking into, but it seems like it's just a prach of the poetrytree that I'll never realy get into

No problem. I'm glad it was useful.

Yes, heavy is the perfect adjective for it. It's not my kind of thing to read either, haha. It's amazing how diverse poetry is~.

ok so here is one:
From the lives we cross
And the people we lose
From the paths we bewander
And the opponents we choose

It's how we're made, how we're scarred
Memories holding us down, forever barred
Drowning in guilt for breaking the trust we built
Mercenaries we are, atoning for innocent blood spuilt

From the passing of virtue once given to us
And the wratch of the Otherness we befall
From the poisoned lies we spread
And the haunting secrets we recall

It's our heart, our soul, a necessary sacrifice
Revengeful justice comes at a deadly price
The thirst for power is never ending, never ceasing
Condemned to follow this path, morals ever decreasing

From all we thought to earn and gain
And the promise of unlimited might
From being indebted to the devil is all that remains
And our cursed history left for human kind to despise

thanks in advance

could you help me in understanding a poem? you seem quite the artist yourself and I eed another imput, it's not the kind of poetry I'm used to (it's very dark and abstract) but it's from the ex of a friend of mine and he asked me to help him understand, I could only say: she looks so lonely, and even that he hadn't grasped, so I want to give him the whole picture, but I don't understand it enough

haha, it's a great book, deffinatly a classic. I've had my period of disliking twilight, bc the internet was bashing it, but then I remembered the times I smiled while I read the book, I think stephenie Meyer is a great writer, just because the world chose to dislike her book bc of horible acting, doesn't mean I have to dislike it. Also I absolutely LOVED your last quote. I think I'll write that on my wall

I actually enjoyed twilight a lot. It's not the same as a clasic, but it's a great YA book, in my opinion. And in 1984, not everyone dies, in my opinion it's worse, you'll see

I'm very bad in frnesh, I hated it in school, and we had to read it. I think I wouldn've loved the book more if I hadn't read it in french first. I don't think it's childish at all, I'm still not sure how it enden. And oh, I'm sorry for your lost book, hope someone good found it and loved it. It's been a year since I finished it, and I'm still in therapy bc of it(just kidding :D) but it really was a striking book it only beomes really really good at the end, certainly worth getting back into. I don't know speak, I will add it to my to read list

I wouldn't read it if you ever plan on eating even one piece of meat again, it's schocking. Animal farm is amazing, but it's only strong if you know everything that happened in and before the cold war. Actually, the only part of the book that I find strong at the story is how he predicted the treathening each other with atom bombs, he was a visionair for sure, but I think orwell's 1984 is way better. What's your favorite book?

I just loved foer's extremely loud and incredebly close. His wife wrote a book in the same style, the history of love, wich is myfavorite book(I do have a lot, but in it's genre it's my absolute number one) Her name is krauss, you should really check out quotes from that book. Also like his book eating animals, but that's non fiction so .. yea :D I'm a vegitarian but if I wasn't it would make me. His writing is so strong <3
