Best guy friend: "Can I ask you some advice?"
Me- "Of course. We are best friends. You can ask me anything."
Him- "Well there is this girl, who is absolutely perfect, but she doesn't see it. How do I make her believe she is amazing? How do I get her to see what I see?"
Me- "Well, compliment her all the time, but make it sincere. Don't do it just to be annoying. And once in a while, do a cute little thing like stick a note in her locker saying something you like about her."
Him- Ok. Thank you.
2 days later, I found a note in my locker saying,
"If you haven't figured out by all the compliments I keep giving you, you're that amazing girl I was talking about. In my eyes, you are perfect. Speaking of eyes, your's are the most beautiful I have ever seen."

Why is it that my friends don't even bother to notice I'm dying inside? That my heart has been torn out and all they do is just live their lives like they always have? They don't even take the time to ask how I am or what I'm doing anymore ... everyone just seems to be slipping away and all I can do is wonder why. It's a shame -- the people you thought were your 'best friends' get their own lives, and they don't even notice how yours has been torn apart.
