As I grew up, I had no father to protect me. Not that I was scared, but confused because he left me.If I could take back time to the day he walked away, I would keep him really close and this is what I would say.Dad, so whats up? I haven't heard from you at all. You don't even write or ever give me a call. Is everything okay? Are you doing good? Doing fine? Can I ask you a question, why don't you ever send at least a dime? My mom really struggles, man she does a lot & she tries her hardest just to give me what I want & it gets me pretty mad because you don't even try. It makes me want revenge, don't think it makes me cry. I was only a newborn when you left, now i'm almost 18. Whole 18 years since my daddy left me. It's been a while, yeah it's been a long time, but the thing I wonder most is am I ever on your mind?
