Happy to know I inspired Princess Ally. (Also, I would think that wearing dark clothes when you're pale would only emphasize the fair tone of your skin, as it creates a sharp contrast??? But whatever works for you, chickadee.)

I agree with you that skinny people shouldn't be treated like sh-t and all, but you must understand that skinny body types are extremely idealised in this society.
Sure, sometimes skinny people are put down, but when /aren't/ larger people? (And those little niche communities on the Internet aren't very much.)
Most of the things like "guys like a little booty to hold at night" are things said more or less in retaliation, because if you're not skinny, you are always being told "too fat too fat too fat" and are always seeing skinny people in magazines, skinny people in movies, skinny people in books, skinny people on television, skinny people on posters.
So, yeah, it kind of sucks, but I think...the way people talk about skinny shaming kind of erases all of the fat shaming. (Like MRAs, sort of?)
