   My own mother just did probably the cruelest thing possible. She called me fat. To my face. I'm a pound and a half under weight for my height. She doesn't know what happened to me from 6TH to 8TH grade. My doctor finally told me in healthy again. Thanks mom.

   "I-I what?" I said shocked, my voice cracking.
   "You still look beautiful." Hary repeated.
   I managed to say "Uh.. Thanks."
   I looked up at his face and smiled. He flipped his gorgeous hair and then proceeded to look down at me with his soft blue-green eyes.
   Before we could really say much more, everyone else was coming up behind us ready to go back to shore and dry off.
   ***
   Our day at the beach was coming to and end now. After the our little conversation in the water, Harry and I hadnt really talked much.
   In midthought, Harry walked over to me while everyone was caught up in saying their goodbyes and placed a crinkled paper of some sort in my hand.
   "What will i be needing this f-"
   It was a paper with his number written written on it.
   WOAH.
   Harry actually showed an interest in me. Out of all of the girls who are dying to get to him he chose.. me. But, i shouldn't get my head inflated so soon. It was just his phone number. But I spoke too soon.
   "Call me some time, babe. I really enjoyed today." said Harry with that angelic voice of his. After slipping an adorable smile he leaned in and gave me a kiss on the cheek. His lips were warm and soft against my skin.
   I let him into a long hug and he whispered, "Bye, love."
   I didn't really think too much of it. It was just a kiss on the cheek. No big deal, right?
   Harry, Zayn, and Lauren were the first to leave. The rest of us packed up our remains. Then, Niall, Liam, and Emily left together.
   Once everybody had left, Darcy of course mobbed me with questions.
   "Lex, do you think Harry fancies you?! You guys would be so cute together! Oh my gosh! Alexa Styles! Halexa or Alarry?!"
   Then her tone turned slightly more serious. "You know.. out of all of the girls that I've seen him look at, he's never really looked at them the same way as he did with you. You're beautiful, Alexa and obviously he sees that. But theres something about the way he treats you that makes me feel like he likes you for more than that. He might have true feelings for you."
   I honestly couldn't hold in the emotions in anymore.
   "Really?! Do you think so?! He's gorgeous! And his smile?! To die for. He's absolutely perfect!!"
   Then, I took it to a more serious note as well. "I mean.. he's such a sweetheart, though. And he's such a romantic. But, I feel like his reputation might get in the way of things. I just can't help but blush though when i catch him flirt. And i know i just met him but.. I don't even know."

   When we got home, I took a shower to get all of the sand and saltwater off of my body. After I finished drying off and got into a robe, I checked my cell phone to see what time it was.
   *two missed calls, one new text message*
   The phone calls were from my foster mother. I'd definetly call her before I went to bed later and tell her EVERYTHING.
   Then, I went to check the text message.
   "Hey, babe. I couldn't wait for you to call me tomorrow, so I rang up Louis and asked him to give me your number. Anyways, I really want to get to know you better. You seem like a really lovely girl. I drive up to a coffee shop everymorning to get breakfast and I was wondering if you wanted to come along and chat. Let me know. xx ~Harry"

   Chapter 4
   After Harry had finished slathering sunblock on every square inch of my body, he asked me to put a little on his back. While I was doing so, he kept squirming around because of the coolness of the sunblock. Once that was finishes, we raced eachother to the water. When we got there, we were bombarded with questions.
   First Louis said accusingly, "Well guys! What was going on up there?"
   Clearly he has noticed Harry rubbing my body up and down with sunblock. I blushed trying to disreguard all of the provocative comments that were said towards me. Whatever. Its not like it meant anything.
   We all splashed around in the water for what seemed like hours. I didn't want to go under the water, because messing up my hair and makeup was no option. Especially in front of these guys. Just as we were about to head out of the water, someone came up behind me. I was flung over someones shoulder. I had no idea who it was until I smelled the distinct scent of my sunblock.
   "Harry?!" I squealed.
   He turned me over in his arms allowing me to see his face. "Guilty," he said with a flirtacious grin on his face.
   Seconds later I was tossed high up in the air only to land in the shallow ocean water. Yupp. There goes my hair and makeup.
   Darcy took a look at me and said jokingly, "Well don't you look pretty, Lex!"
   I knew that she was just teasing me, but still. I couldn't help but feel insecure now that my hair was soaking wet and no longer straight and all traces of my makeup had vanished. In a sudden change of moods, I went walking back to shore. When all of a sudden I was held back by a soft tug on my arm.
   "Who-"
   He blushed and flashed an adorable half-smile. "You still look beautiful," whispered Harry.

   "Oh hey, Louis! I haven't seen you in forever! How's your GIRLFRIEND?"
   "We ended things a while ago.. A mutual decision," he said sounding slightly upset.
   "Oh. Sorry to hear."
   "It's quite alright now though," he said while looking me up and down.
   I sort of just gave him a look.
   "I guess I should go unpack now.." I said while trying to walk past him.
   He blocked my path. "What?! I don't get a hug?"
   "Oh sorry Lou. How could I have been so negligent?!" I said sarcastically.
   He pulled me in for a hug that nearly knocked the wind out of me. He held me so tight and so close to him that I could barely breathe. However, I kind of liked it. I felt really safe in his arms and his cologne smelled amaz- NO. Louis is too much like a brother.
   "..Lou, you can let go now," I managed to say not being able to breathe.
   "Oh. Right. Need any help unpacking?"
   "No. I should be fine. Thanks though."
   I proceeded down the hallway until darcy pointed out my room. When I opened the door, I was stunned. The room was gigantic. It was nearly the size of my entire house back in America. After the shock of that was over, I threw all of my stuff into drawers and my new walk-in closet. After making sure that my suitcases were empty, I went back downstairs and joined Louis and Darcy in the family room. They seemed to already be making plans for the day.
   "Beach it is!" exclaimed Darcy.
   That was all she had to say until I ran upstairs trying to find my new bathing suit that I'd been dying to wear since I got it. After slipping it on and putting on a cute coverup, I went back downstairs to find that Darcy and Louis were already ready!
   The three of us ran to the car. About a few minutes into the car ride Loui's cellphone started ringing. He answered.
   "Hello? Oh hey babe! Yeah.. Im on my way to the beach with Darcy and a friend who's going to be staying with us. You wanna come? Yeah of course! Okay cool. Love you!"
   "Louis, I thought you didn't have a girlfriend.." I said a little jealous actually.
   "You thought that was a girl?! haha No. That was Harry asking if I wanted to do anything with him and the others. They're going to come meet us at the beach!"
   I did all I could to keep myself from fangirling.
   "Oh that's cool! Can't wait to meet them." I said managing to keep my composure.
   Finally we pulled up to the beach and claimed a spot in the sand. There was a generous amount of people there, because it was pretty hot out. It wasn't too bad, though.
   About 10 minutes had passed when the other boys of One Direction and their girlfriends had finally arrived.
   The first boy I saw was Niall dramatically jumping off of a sand dune. He was adorable. He even made braces look hot. He seemed like a total sweetheart and I automatically felt as if I could become close friends with him.
   Next, over came Zayn looking like one of those badboys from the movies with his beautiful blond girlfriend on his arm. I saw her name in a magazine once.. Lauren i think it was?
   Following close behind Zayn was innocent looking, but extremely hot Liam. He had that sort of lost puppy look to him that made every girl melt. Holding his hand was a beautiful brunette girl who I'd also heard of. Her name was Emily and she was a football cheerleader back in America.
   Last to come into my view was Harry. One word. Woah. I honestly don't even know how to describe him. He was probably the most beautiful human being on the face of the earth.
   But why would he ever go for me? He'd probably be a good friend.. Oh well.
   After being introduced and hugging every one of them (AHHHHH! *internal fangirl*) we all decided to go swimming.
   Everyone flung off their clothes and sprinted towards the water.. Except Harry.
   I was in the midst of taking my clothes to reveal my cute new bikini when I caught Harry looking at me from the corner of my eye. Obviously I didn't mind.
   Then I realized that I needed some help putting on sunblock and Harry was the only one still here....
   "Hey, Harry you think you could help me-"
   "Need me to apply your sunscreen for ya?" He said looking suite excited..
   "Please" I managed to say without putting a dorky smile on my face.
   He squirted the sunblock onto his hands and began rubbing it on my shoulders...back...legs..arms...ohpp
   ...other areas
   I can't even believe I was letting him do this. I surprisingly enjoyed every second of it, though.
   Things are getting interesting(; what a long chapter it made me change the font size! welp comment anything youd like to happen or think is going to happen (:

    Chapter 2
    I looked outside and there it was. An enormous, black stretch limousine.
    "Darcy, this isnt a red carpet!" I laughed.
    "I understand, Lex, but now that Loui and the boys are famous we've been more- uhh- priveleged..?"
    "Well, that's a good enough explanation for me! Let's go!"
    We both struggled trying to grab all of my bags at once but still managed to run with them to the limousine as fast as our legs could take us. After putting all of my things in the back, the driver opened up the doors for us and we both hopped in. I felt like royalty! The limo was completely decked out in red satin cushioning and glittery walls with a 20-inch portable flatsccreen tv!
    While driving to Darcy's, I was able to catch a few sights. London was all I wanted and more. It was beautiful.
    After approximately 35 minutes, we approached some gates. There, the limo driver put a password into a keypad.
    "What, is this like some sort of shortcu-?"
    We pulled up to a MANSION. I guess the band was doing better than I thought.
    "Welcome home," said Darcy while unbuckling her seatbelt.
    I couldn't have gotten inside of the house any faster. It was BEAUTIFUL. The first thing I saw when I walked in was Darcy's mom. She was like my other mom along with my foster mother.
    "Darcy! So good to have you staying with us!"
    I was let into a huge embrace.
    "Oh I've missed you so much!"
    Our eyes met. Hers were filled with tears.
    "Well, I'd better let you unpack and get settled in and we can catch up later," she sniffled.
    "Okay. Thanks for much.. For everything," I thanked her while bringing my stuff up the grand staircase.
    Next person I saw? Lou walking around in a daze in his underpants.
    However, he seemed to wake right up when he saw me..
    "Alexa? Is that you?! You look... different," he winked.

    Chapter 1
    "Excuse me? Miss? Miss, wake up."
    "Wha-what?"
    "Sorry to wake you, miss. But we've landed."
    Standing over me was a blonde petite flight attendant.
    Then it hit me. I was finally here. My six hour flight was now over and the plane had finally landed at the London Airport. It was so surreal. I immediately jumped up out of my seat, grabbed my carry-on bag, and ran off the plane thanking the captain on my way out. I headed right over to baggage claim to get all of my belongings. After grabbing my load of suitcases and duffle bags, I went to sit down on a nearby airport bench and wait for Darcy. Only moments after sitting, I saw two small hands come around the back of my head and place them over my eyes.
    I jumped up, turned around, and screeched, "DARCY!!!"
    "ALEXA!!! Oh my goodness! Look at you girl! Hot damn! How many hearts did you break since I last saw you?! You look gorgeous! I missed you so much! I can't believe its almost been a year! I mean.. this year's been crazy! And now you're coming to stay with us?! WHAATTT?! I'm so excited! Are yo-"
    I took her by the shoulders to keep her from jumping up and down out of excitement and said, "Darcy. Calm down. How about we continue this somewhere less public..?" As she let out a jittery laugh, I looked her up and down. She's changed A LOT. Pretty much the only thing about her that was the same was her bubbly, over-the-top personality. Since the last time I've seen her, her short hair grew into long, flowing caramel locks and all of her baby fat seemed to have disappeared. Her body now looked very toned and swimmer-like and very mature. Of course I've changed since then, as well.
    I too let my hair grow out into long brown waves. I mean, I'd always been extremely skinny but now I've filled out. I'm left with a C-cup, a slim waist, and long, athletic legs. Boys have always told me that I'm quite something to look at with my "rockin bod," cute face, and crystal clear blue eyes. However, I've always been too shy for boys. I didn't really understand what they saw in me. I sort of focused on my schoolwork and sports. Therefore, I've never had a boyfriend. But, the old me was left back in America. I'm ready to start a whole new life in England. A whole new ME.
    "Darcy, I say we take a taxi back to your place and catch up! How does that sound..?"

    My name is Alexa. I'm 16 years old and am about to have the experience of a lifetime. As of right now, I'm packing together all of my belongings to prepare for my new life in England. My loving foster family has finally agreed to let me live overseas in England with my best friend Darcy! I bet you're wondering how Darcy and I became acquainted considering I'm currently living in America.. Well, my foster family has taken annual trips to Dublin, Ireland ever since I was seven years old. While on our second trip, I met Darcy whos family was also vacationing there and we were instantly like sisters! Of course the long distance situation was hard, but we got to look forward to vacationing in Ireland every year together. Darcy's even come to America to visit for a whole two weeks! I haven't been to England yet which makes this experience even more interesting! However, since Darcy and I have last seen eachother things have changed drastically. For the better though. Darcy's brother, Louis, auditioned for the XFactor as a solo act and ended up being in a band as a lifeline. This band was soon to be playing worldwide in arenas and having millions of screaming fans calling out their names.. Does 'One Direction' sound familiar? Soon enough I'll be staying in England not only with my best friend, Darcy, but with her famous brother, Louis Tomlinson. Soon, but not soon enough, I will be rooming with the members of ONE DIRECTION.

    hey guys. so im really reaching out to all of you here when i say that i need something. and i would really appreciate if you would all help me.. so lately me and my family have been going through tough times and my little sister and i have been sort of drifting apart and i really want to go something special for her in order to strengthen our bond. when i was she loves one direction.. i mean she LOVES THEM. shes dedicated ♥ and no matter who tries to diss her and tell her to grow up because she'll never meet them she always sticks up for "her boys" and has hope(: its her dream to meet them. sadly, we dont have enough money to pay for a meet and greet.
