Exactly! I mean, I'm all for forming your own opinion and believing in your opinion but, that does not mean you get the right to force others to live the life you want them too. That doesn't mean the whole world should go accepting to those narrow minded opinions over the views of 60 % of people who think gay marriage is awesome. Forming an opinion and shoving it down someone's throat is not America in its finest hour . I just think that it shouldn't even be a big deal. Like if people who are gay want to be married that's their choice it doesn't have to be an equal rights movement . But that's what it's amounted to because certain people use their power for the wrong things. I'm pretty sure there are more important pressing issues that could be benefited by people giving a damn. Instead of worrying what the freaking gay community is doing.

I don't mind people believing in a religion, but when they try to force it on others, then it bugs me. Exactly, it's so pointless to be evn arguing about it! It's their life, let them do what they want. Good lord, I haven't even found one good argument to keep gay marriage illegal! And when people say "call it something else, because marriage is a bible term" or "call it a civil union" I get soo irritated, because the bible didn't even start out in English and it started out as a man literally making a woman his property! Marriage today is so far from its original name that people need to stop with the "call it something else" crap. Instead of wasting money on protesting LOVE we could be getting innocent children off the streets or provide help for single parents or something, but noooo, we have to protest someone's love life. And I also hate it when people are all "where do we draw the line? What about marriages between a human and a dog? What about between an eighty year old and a five year old?" No, just no. This has nothing to do with those marriages. A marriage should be between consenting adults. Consenting. Human. Adults. Dogs and other animals cannot give their consent since they do not speak, and people under the age of 18 cannot legally make those decisions because they aren't mature. It's not that difficult, but people make it out to be.

It makes me so angry, mainly because of the religion thing. I know a lot of people, all sorts of religions. & Because people hide behind their religion just to be homophobic, irritates me. It gives religion a stereotype and a lot of it isn't true. No where in the bible does it definitively state " Gay marriage isn't aloud". The bible is about interpretation, what people take away from it. Each is different. We live in a world where we are supposedly separating church and state because it causes uproar. Yet, over 60% of America says they want gay marriage and 57% say a close family relative likes the same . The only reason no one is on board is because they're either ignorant and uneducated or hiding behind religion. It really is pitiful and pathetic.

I also hate double standard religious people. There's this girl in my class that is against gay marriage, because it's against the bible. Yeah, we'll I'm pretty sure it says something in there about not gossiping, but she does that. It also says no before marriage, but she brags about going out and doing all that crap like there's not tomorrow while bragging about herself. Seriously people? It mentions gay people about once in the bible. Also, they use the "separating of church and state" only to their benefit. And then people to off about how it "offends their religion that people are allowing gay marriage." Yeah, we'll now I follow the religion of cantaloupe. It offends me if you eat cantaloupe, so eating cantaloupe shall now be illegal. Would they agree to that? No. But it's against my religions! Ugh.

Two of my brothers and my best friend are gay and they're some of the best people i know. We live in America, freedom is suppose to be free for everyone. Not just the straight people who abide by societies views. It makes me so angry that people can really be that ignorant and unaware and uneducated.

I know, it's so sad. And also marriage gives couple beneficial things in the government. So it's not just the thought of being married, it's also the benefits. For example, if there was a gay couple and they had no other family and one of them needed and operation that needed to be done right away but with consent and the person was knocked out cold, and could not give consent, then their partner legally cannot make the depiction for them like a "normal" couple would be able to do. The person would probably die as a result. It's so idiotic some of the arguments I hear. Some people say its against their religion. Oh yeah right... Of course, because America was founded under your religion. Can you hear my sarcasm world? Ever heard of the freedom of religion? Separation if church and state? Ringing any bells?

I know, it's completely insane how so many people really believe all that crap. My friend grew up with two moms, a mom and a dad, and also a single parent and she is probably one of the most well rounded personalities ever. And anyways, taking away marriage isn't going to magically make them straight. Seriously people? And I hate when they are all "what about repopulation" and blah blah blah. There are so many homeless kids on the street and orphans all over the world, I think we'll survive. And what about people who physically can't get pregnant? Should they not be allowed to get married too? Heck, let's just start getting all girls pregnant right after their finally able to carry a baby! I mean, that's what they're saying, right? That were all just a bunch of baby makers? Ugh, the ignorance is so strong in this world.
