My Philosophy..
As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let us down, probably will. You'll have your heart broken and you'll break others' hearts. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, forgive freely, and love like you've never been hurt. Don't be afraid to take chances or fall in love and most of all, live in the moment because every second you spend angry or upset is a second of happiness you can never get back.

Chasing Chapter 11 Part One
Danny’s POV.
“Oh come on Grayson! Help a brother out.” I said.
“Danny I said no, I think I can be friends I don’t want to screw it up because you have the hots for her. You don’t even know her, you have no... Just you don’t know her don’t mess with her” Grayson said sounded like he was pretty angry with me.
“Like you know her!?!? Oh I see how it is. You like her. Thanks Grayson once again you screw me over for the girl.”
“Danny get a grip its not like that and you know it, I’m not dating anymore. I’m done with that and everything I just want her to be my friend. Our families are friends anyways.”
“Our? Dude I’m practically family too! So that makes us all friends. Plus Mrs. Johnson knows me I’ve been there before. Fine I see how it is ill just get her to fall for me own my own all with my charm." I said with a smirk.
“What charm? All right I wanna see all this work out.” Grayson said joking it off like we always did.
“Just you’re not going to double cross me are you?” I asked Grayson.
“No never.” And we shook on it. We walked into the lunch room towards our table. Terra, Callie, and Laura were already sitting with Lucas, Sean and Justin, but there was another head a dark headed girl. That’s when it hit me Addi!!!
“Dude you didn’t tell me she was sitting with us! How does my hair look?” I asked now nervous touching my hair quickly.
“Chill and yes it looks fine. Get a hold of yourself Danny, you’re never like this.” Grayson said as we walked towards the table where everyone was laughing.
“What are we all laughing at” I asked trying to be charming.
“You.” Addi said with a straight face as everyone laughed at her joke. I felt so embarrassed “Just kidding.” she added as she flipped her hair and smiled. Then she punched me in the arm. “Take a joke.” She said with a smile. Wow she was extremely pretty.

Chasing Chapter 7
Addi’s pov.
4:07. Great 20 minutes. I raced upstairs and into my room I grabbed a towel and rushed into my bathroom. I took a record fast shower and put my hair in a ponytail. I walked into my closet and picked out my outfit. I went back into the bathroom and let my hair air dry 4:20. 10 minutes. I did my make up and I went for a more unnoticeable look I slipped on my dress, shoes and my necklace. Sprayed my Pink perfume and walked down stairs with 2 minutes to spare. “Oh Addi my darling.” My mother said. “You look beautiful.” she said as she kissed my cheek my mother was a very fashionable women.. she liked to feel confident in her clothes and body. That explains her shoes and her dress. She also loved to show off what new piece of jewelry my dad had given her tonight it was a key necklace. I wonder how much that cost daddio. My father was a well known lawyer. We had considerable amounts of money but I didn’t brag and I would say we were a modest family. But I always had the finest clothes. My mother couldn’t live with her kids having “cheap” clothes. Our house seemed to fit in around this neighborhood. This was unlike our old neighborhood. It was quiet and calm here unlike our old, bustling neighborhood. We lived in Wilmington, North Carolina. My correction I thought we lived in Charlotte but our town is just a little ways away. I wonder who was coming for dinner I thought as the doorbell rang. “Addi my dear, could you please great our guests.” My mother asked. “Sure mom.” I said as I repositioned my headband. As I began to open the door a woman stood in front of me with her husband “Good evening Elizabeth!” the woman said as she kissed my mothers cheek.“Ah I see this must be Addi.” “Yes I’m Addi.” I looked behind her and almost fell over in shock to see who stood in front of me.

Addi's Pov.
It was 4 I had to be ready by 4:30, I could do this. Plus I already had my outfit planned out in my head. It was unusual. But I loved the way it looked all put together. I started back home but I was lost, but I knew where I was kind of.. I have ran before but before I knew it I was rounding a corner and I bumped into someone. Guess who. Grayson. “Oh my god” I shrieked. “I am so sorry. I wasn’t paying attention and I'm in a rush sorry Grayson.” As usual Grayson was just smiling at me. He looked kind of shocked. “No problem. It was funny the look on your face. I thought you saw a ghost!!” he laughed some more. “Hey, I hate to admit this but i'm kinda lost how do I go home?” I asked embarrassed. “Just turn right off of this street then make a left and your there. It'll only be about 5 minutes.” “Thanks.” I said cutting him off. “I have this dinner tonight sorry. See you around.” I shouted as a started to run off. I heard footsteps other than my own. I looked behind me. “Can I help you. “ I asked agitated. “Yeah, let me run you home. I’ll race ya.” He said with a chuckle. “Okay your on. Ready? Set? G-“ “WAIT!” Grayson said cutting me off. “You run?” “Well of course I do.” “Oh okay. GO!”he shouted. We raced home to my house man he was fast but I could easily stay in reach of him. We ran to my house and we were out of breath. We just fell down in the grass and started to laugh. “Thanks Grayson. But I gotta go i'm sorry talk you to tomorrow.” I said.
Grayson’s pov.
Man she was a fast runner! I loved it I’m so used to running by myself I was nice having a partner other than Danny. But I liked the time to think to myself. Back to reality. She had a dinner. Weird so did i. Well I guess I’ll see her tomorrow. “Yeah see you tomorrow!” I said happily.

chasing chapter 4 Grayson’s POV.
As we walked to study hall I was so excited we had another class together. I really liked Addi. Not like falling for her but as a friend. She was different. Modest. She didn’t brag or boast or show off, and I loved that! How could I not? Most girls around here if they’ve got the looks, money, or the life they flaunt it. I couldn’t take another girl like that I just couldn’t, but something about her was just different, and I couldn’t put my finger on it. I was going to make this friendship last. I wasn’t going to mess it up like I have in the past. As we walked down the hall she focused on what was in front of her. She didn’t seem to be interested in anyone. Odd. She met Terra, my ex, Laura and Callie they were best friends. They were nice girls but not my type. Maybe my old type and I mean we tried, just didn’t work. She also met Lucas, Sean (he’s not my favorite but he’s in the group), Justin and Danny. Danny’s my boy almost my brother, we practically hang out 24/7 I live at his house he lives at mine. Too bad he’s had a rough time. I saw him eye up Addi, but I gave him a look and he backed down. Addi was gorgeous, and even better exotic. She could probably look amazing if she didn’t try she had long dark hair with simple side bangs with a side low pony tail. She was skinny but not too skinny. She probably had some muscle which was always good. But she wasn’t jacked up. Nice. Her eyes were just like mine, but they were better. As we sat down in study hall I sat next to her. I compared our schedules we had classes together, I’m now excited for school. I hope we can become friends. She was smart. Not a dumb cheerleader. I can’t deal with any more of those. She had to have a boyfriend so I asked.
“So what’s his name?” I asked for the tenth time. Each time she just said “no.” she must have thought I was kidding I sure wasn’t kidding. “There is no ‘him’, so please stop with the questions.” She added. “Oh come on Addi. A girl like you there has to be a guy and a story and a life!” I said. She has to be hiding something, but I won’t pressure her I know girls hate it. Ivy said so and what Ivy says, goes. “No, no story, no boy, no life.“ she stated. "And what is that supposed to mean?” she said, slightly annoyed. I'll just add my charm I’ll get it out of her. “Nothing. Fine. I’ll just go get a drink, if you’re going to be like this.”I said jokingly. Addi thought I was serious. I had to laugh. “Grayson wait! I'm sorry I do-”I pretended not to notice the slight pause “-n’t have a story I'm sorry but don’t be mad. Don’t hate me please.” She pleaded. This was just getting funnier and funnier. I loved this! “I’m just kidding with you, but don’t worry I know I’ll get it out of you someday. But seriously I'm thirsty.” I reassured her as I started to walk away. “ Wait!” she shouted but got “shhhhh’s” in return. “Sorry. Grayson get me water.” she said and flashed a huge smile. It was amazing I loved it. “Sure anything for my queen.” I added sarcastically.
I really liked Addi, as a friend. I hope she liked me as a friend too. She was smart pretty and a great sense of humor. Walked to the vending machine and got 2 bottles of water. Then I walked around for a bit. I ran into Terra, and she dropped her books. We both bent down to get them and her hair fell into her face. “I’m sorry Terra! Here let me help you.” I spit out. We broke up well, I broke up with her. I just didn’t feel it anymore. It was huge news apparently, but she already had a new boyfriend, and I wasn’t so sure about dating. “Thanks.” She said. Terra was a pretty girl but Addi was prettier. “Two waters?” Terra asked. Addi! That’s right her water. “Oh yeah, ones for Addi. I should bring it to her. Sorry see ya around. “I said with a smile. “Grayson wait,” she said acting serious. “So is it getting serious with her?” “What no, I just met her today. Well in person. Bye Terra.” I was kind of offended by what Terra said. She was never one to get jealous. As I walked back to study hall I checked my phone two texts from Danny. “He would” I thought.
Danny 9:05am: Yo dude. Addi tht new girl she’s hot!
Danny 9:07am: DIBBSS!
I smiled but come on don’t ruin my friendship I thought. So I walked back into the library to find Danny talking to Addi. Great.
