Walked into the dining room tonight with my mom and my aunt at the table laughing so hard they were crying..
I asked why,
and they both looked at each other, then back at me..
and screamed
"MAR-I-JUANAAAAA!" pronouncing it exactly as it's spelt.
I looked back at them and said,
"Thanks for reminding me." And went back to my room.

i'm trying to be nicer to myself.
that probably sounded really stupid, or pointless. but it's not..
when it's coming from a girl who's always battling with herself,
always reminded of her past, her future to come, and the horrible ways she deals with it..
the bad parts that rip her away. the girl who's willing to love somebody more than herself.
the girl who's awake at 3 am, sleep deprived and hurt, done with everything and everybody.
i'm that girl.
i've got to learn to love myself, instead of hating myself for everything.
i'm trying to feed myself more, and all healthy foods.
i'm going to stop putting myself in danger and to stop letting others define me.
i'm going to go to bed early.
i'm going to stop hurting my skin, myself, and letting these things destroy me.

it's very easy for today's society to sit there and pick out the bad in someone, just countlessly one after another spilling what you're against them for- what you don't like them for doing, and why you think they're not worth being considered a 'good person'
but somehow, it's harder for today's society to pick out the good in someone, to give them a compliment or acknowledge them- tell them something you like that they do, and why they CAN be considered a good person.
