    Chapter Two Part Three
“You don’t look happy?” Alec asks looking at me.
“That was my dad, he can’t make it.”
    “That sucks”
“Yeah” I say while pushing my stool back, careful to make sure no one is behind me this time, and slide down. As I’m turning to grab my purse, I notice a handful of girls over in the corner anxiously start at Alec, probably trying to figure out how to come hit on him. He notices them too and quickly looks away.
“You know what? I don’t think my friends is going to show. I’ll walk you out.” He takes my hand and smiles. The spot where he’s holding my hand tingles and there is a noticeable uptick in the beat of my heartbeat. Alec guides me through the lounge and out into the lobby. It’s even busier in here then when I arrived and when we push through the front doors and step outside, I’m startled to see a large crowd has formed. A dozen men with large, expensive looking cameras are standing at attention on the sidewalk, eyes trained on a limo pulling to stop at the curb. Seconds later two big stars emerge from it. It’s not like I am not used to seeing stars but one is Stacy Summer, who stars in one of my favorite TV shows and the boy I do not recognize but they hold hands while walking towards the restaurant. I take a minute to notice that Alec is starting in the complete opposite direction, almost like he is trying to say hidden.
“Alec, looks its Stacy Summer.” I say, he turns around giving me a puzzled look.
“You recognize her?” He asks shock.
“Well of course I do, she’s a huge star. “ I say with a huge grin. Alec looks at me with disbelief. I then take notice that they have pulled around my Range Rover.
“Well, that’s my ride.” I touch Alec’s shoulder and motion I’m leaving.
“Good idea. Should get out of here.” He nods. I’m a little surprised when he follows me. We reach the driver’s side of my range rover and I pull the door open.
“So, it was really nice meeting you Alec.”
“Yeah, you too.” He says but his eyes are darting left to right and avoiding mine.
“Hey wait a minute,” some calls. “Isn’t that?” Some of the photographers are backing away from Stacy. I peer around, trying to figure out what they are looking at. I notice Alec’s lip tighten, then his eyes squeeze shut. But a second later his face relaxes and his eyes flutter open bore down into my own. He reaches his and toward me and before I know what is happening, he’s pulling me into him, wrapping his arms around me and pressing his lips to my cheek.
**Feedback would be awesome. This was the final part for Chapter Two**

    Chapter Two Part One
“Yeah, dad I would love to meet you for lunch. It would be great to finally see you. Yeah meet you there. Bye.” I hung up the phone after I heard the beep. I had been home for almost a week and my father has yet to see me. He is too busy with this new artist, but today he found time for a quick lunch he claimed.
“That dad?” Will asked. Believe it or not Will and are twins, the same age of seventeen. We obviously weren’t identical but there are traits about us that are similar, like our eyes. We both had big blue eyes, the same color as the ocean.
“Yeah, I am meeting him for lunch this afternoon.” I said taking off my wet suit. Will, Conrad, and I had just gotten done with our morning surf. I like surfing, but my brothers were definitely better than I was, but then again they lived by an ocean all year round.
“Well, if he shows. Don’t get your hopes up Logan.” Conrad said. He was the oldest out of all of us, and he was very protective. He is the type of person that hates seeing people being hurt. I was slightly taken back by his comment what did he mean.
“He’ll Show. I know it.” I said mostly to myself. I think I needed to say it out loud to believe. I knew my dad was bad at sticking to his plans or schedule for that matter. But come on, I was his only daughter and he hasn’t seen me in a year. He had to show. I headed inside to have a little bit of breakfast before getting ready for lunch.
“Log, I saw mom got you a new guitar.” Will said. Will and I were both very interested in music, like my father. I guess it ran in the family. Will also knew how to play guitar and he was jealous had got the newest and best guitar.
“Yeah, it was her going away present for me. You jealous?” I asked putting peanut butter on my toast.
“Nah, I still love mine. You still want to play at Last Chance like usually right?” Will asked with a hint of a smile. Every since Will and I had been interested in music and found out that we were actually decent at it, every couple of nights we would play for an hour or so at this local coffee shop. Will and I would both play the guitar and I would sing most of the time but sometimes Will would join me. I wouldn’t say we were the best but we defiantly weren’t bad. It was something him and I both loved doing.
“Of course! I have to show that I play better than you somewhere.” I said. Will was a man of competition so I loved to get him going.
“We will see.” He shouted after me as I ran up to my room to start getting ready. I put on white strapless dress that was a little more fit but flared at my waist. I had a long necklace with the color of mint that matched my bracelets and mint colored shoes. It may seem a little dress but to when going out to lunch with my dad know where he takes you is causal. I had long brown hair with some blonde highlights. My hair reached to just above my butt, I let it dry naturally which means it had slight waves to it. I braided my bangs out of my face and pinned them back. I looked at myself as I ran my fingers along the small scar above my left eyebrow, the memories came flooding back. I was in the car; I was in the passenger seat. I squeezed my eyes shut to block the memories coming back. I took on last look at myself in the mirror noticing my full and sort of pouted lips and my slender build from all the years of surfing and playing volleyball. I was an average height from my age but wearing heels made me taller than I was used to. I didn’t really care for wearing makeup, I added blush and mascara but that was about it.

    Chapter One
"Mom, you don't have to worry about me, I have been doing this for at least a dozen summers already." I said irritated.
"I know sweet heart it just worries me, you father can just be so scattered brained at times. Just promise you will tell your brothers hello for me. “She said with worry in her voice.
"Yes mom, I promise. Look, it’s almost time for me to board my plane. I have to go. I will call you when I land. Love you." I said quickly.
"Love you too sweetheart, and behave." She said. I hung up before she had time to say anything else. I had lied my plane wasn't to board for another hour, but I just could listen to her anymore. I was going to live with my father for the summer in California, just like I had since I was twelve years old. My parents had split when I was about five years old; I was destined to live with my mother being the only girl and all. My two brothers, Conrad and Will are with my father. They never really see our mom, but I made sure to see my father and my brothers every summer. We had a special bond plus the summers in California were ten times better than the ones in Indiana. My dad’s job was the main reason for my parents’ divorce; my mother claimed he was too caught up in his job. I think he just loved it that much. My dad was a record producer, so he worked with some of the biggest and hottest performers. I loved summers in California but my mom really didn't understand why. Especially, this summer because it was the summer before senior year and she said that was summer I needed to spend with my friends. But, truthfully I couldn’t imagine a summer without California. My phone began to ring in my pocket again.
    "Yes, Mom?" I answered irritated.
"Honey, are you sure you’re ready for this? I mean with all that has happened this year?"
When she asked me tears began to spill out but I took a deep breath in and choked out "Yes."
I told my mother I loved her and that I really had to go this time. As, I sat waiting for my plane my flash backed to this year and what has all happened, especially the accident. Before, I knew it was time board the plane. Goodbye Indiana, Hello California.
