My friend, Emma Turner, This is her story. She was a great, loving girl with a gorgeous smile and a loving heart.She was respectful and caring. One day, she collapsed in the shower. They took her into hospital and they didn't know what was wrong with her.A few days later, they discovered she had leukemia. The school hallways were almost silent. Chapter One
My younger sister punched my shoulder, waking me up. "Come on come on Becky! Come on!"
I lifted my eyelids and groaned, the coach had stopped. I raised from my seat and walked out the coach. Layla dumped my bag in my arms and then gave me a massive hug. "First holiday EVER as best friends!" She said excitedly, grabbing the sleeve of my jacket and puling me through the snow to our log cabin. Canada. Not barcelona, ibiza, america, greece, oh no. Canada. Skiing. Snow. My younger sister, Jen, and my mum, Polly, were behind us. "Thankyou for bringing me miss dower! It means a lot. Me nd Becky have been best friends since 4th grade now!" Layla smiled at my mum. "Its alright layla, at least one kid here has some manners." Mum looked straight at me whenshe finished saying that. "Thanks mum." I was forced to say. She gave me a dirty look ten went to unpack her bags. "I can't wait to hit the slopes!" Layla shouted, bouncing onto the bed i was facing on her knees. We heard a snap from the bed, and we immediately both burst out laughing. "Neither can i!" Jen screamed, flinging herself from a far distance onto my bed, half breaking it, and all three of us were plunged onto the floor with laugfhter. "Come on girls, i'll unpack your bags, you lot go hit the sloped okay? Get changed first though." Mum offered. We all nodded and ran into the closet with our bags. I brushed my hair and tied it into a high messy bun. I got this outfit on:

didnt feel like drinking.
"Thank you but i feel sick, i'll drink it later."
"Quick, go to the toilet!"
"What?"
"So sorry, i didn't mean to sound rude, but if you need to throw up it would be best if you did it in the bathroom. Then you're near water."
I did as she said, i went up to the bath room and sat on the floor with my head hung over the toilet seat. I threw up twice, then went back down after flushing.
"Hey, Chanel?"
"Ya?"
"That party tonight...i was thinking we should go."
"I would but i don't have anything to wear."
"I know."
"So i can't go."
"Ya, you can. Come with me."
Chanel's POV:
Lucia sat me on the couch and flicked on the t.v. She placed my happy meal onto my knees and and sat down next to me, opening hers up.
"Thanks, Lucia, you're like a sister. No, better yet, a sister that's my bestest ever friend, because sisters usually argue."
"Thanks, Chanel, you too."
She smiled at me, handing me salt and pepper. I sprinkled it on my chicken nuggets and chips.
"Oh! I forgot the drinks! They're still in the cab! Oh no Chanel, i'm so so so sorry."
"Chill, Lucia, i'm okay."
"Noo, look i want the best for you. I will go and make you a coca cola. Anything else?"
"No, thanks, i'm okay. Just the cola."

Chanel's POV:
"Let's catch a cab." Lucia smiled, and we walked to the cab place. There was a few cabs outside, so we got in n empty one. I got in first, Lucia second and she told the driver this:
"Take us through macdonalds drive through please, and then up to martin road. Thanks."
"That'll be 23 dollars and 89 cents please ladies."
Lucia paid, then grabbed my hand.
"So, any names?"
"I don't know if it's a boy or a girl yet."
"Well, think some up for each. "
"Girls: Amanda, Kyra, Tallulah, Scarlet. Boys: Westley, Harry, Dylan, Bob."
"Bob?"
"Haha, i dunno."
I chuckled quietly.
"Hey, don't worry. We'll be okay." Lucia said, holding my hand tighter with a small smile on her lips. I scooted into the middle seat and started crying on Lucia's shoulder. She wrapped her arms around me in comfort, and I fell asleep with my legs stretched out onto the othe seat and my head on her shoulder. I woke up as i was being carried into Lucia's house by Lucia, who was already holding to happy meals but she was managing fine.
"Lucia?"
"Chanel! Finally you're awake!"
Lucia was on her porch trying to unlock her door, but still with me wrapped around her like a baby. I bet she feels more like a mother than i should right now.

Chanel's POV:
I waited about 2 minutes. Then i reached for it. A tear dripped from my eye. My head fell into my hands as i dropped the small white test.
I was pregnant.
I cupped my stomach as i walked out of the toilets. Lucia was sat reading her kindle, but her head turned as soon as i walked out. So did the lady at the desk's. I didn't look directly at either of them , just at the floor.
"Well?" They both said at the same time.
"Just call me mommy." I whispered. They both dropped their doings and came to hug me.
My arms fell around Lucia. The lady patted me on the back and gave me a box of tissues. I nodded to say thankyou, and took them.
"Come on, baby, let's go back to mine. On the way we can get macdonalds." Lucia offered.
I nodded in agreement.
"Stay strong, sweetheart, now that is your baby. You decide whether to keep it, but if it gets too late to have an abortion. You won't even want one. Want to know why? Because holding a newborn baby in your arms is the most overwhelming feeling ever. You will love him or her, more than anything in that moment. Don't back down, gorgeous, and your friend always has your back, okay? And me."
I smiled at the lady, and then walked out of the shop.

I lay on my bed still, clutching my head in anger. I can't believe Jacob would cheat on me. And aftr we had s*x as well. Unbelievable. I grabbed my phone and called Lucia.

I chuckled and ran out my bedroom to hug her. I shut the door behind me.
"Why you all dressed up?" She causually asked me, openeing the door angain and hopping on one of my beanbags.
"Because i need to buy something. From the chemist."
"She looked at me wit an eyebrow raised.
"Drugs at your age?"
"Noooo! A....pregancy test."
"What for?"
I looked at her asif to say 'What do you think?' then pulled her out of my front door and we set off round the corner.
"So, who's the special man?"
"Ugh, Jacob."
"Why 'ugh'? I thought you were his girl."
"He cheated."
Then she stayed silent all the way to the chemist.
I asked for a pregnancy test, and took it into the toilet cubicle.
"Good luck!" I heard Lucia shout, and i locked the door and followed the instructions. I then put it on the windowsill and cupped my head in my hands. It beeped.
This moment decided my whole future.

I got really freaked out after hearing a bang on my mum's bedroom window. I hid in the cubbyhole downstairs. Footsteps. Down the stairs. I help my breath and stayed as silent as possible. But he/she knew where i was. the cubbyhole door creaked open and someone tapped my leg, then dragged me out by my necklace. I screamed loudly. "Baby, its okay..." "Baby? Who you calling baby?? Get off me!" I knew his face. He hauled me upstairs.
