I don't wanna go to school was my first thought this morning. It was the first day and i was already complaining i didn't wanna go.
"Sadie called me because you weren't answering. She"ll be here in 30 minutes" my sister repeated. OKAY i screamed down the steps.
It feels to unreal to finally be seeing sadie after a whole summer. She was grounded basically all summer due to the fact she threw a killer
end of the school year party. But to our suprise she didn't get away with this one. Sadie is my bestfriend We've been friends since about the
6th grade when hallie made a "your mom" joke and sadie punched her. You see my mom died when i was 7, she had cancer and passed the summer
i was going into 2nd grade. All of the kids found out because of my older brother mark, who is 1year older than me. Mark is a senior
this year, which makes me a junior
"chels are you ready?!" I heard my dad yelling. Which most likely meant sadie was here. Yeah dad im coming now i yell back. I wish they
just chill. It's not like im going to be late. "Chels, Sadies here" Mark was yelling. I didn't even bother respondind because i could hear
sadie's heels clomping up the steps. Im in here sadie i yelled. "Chels hurry, we can't be late to our junior year!"
Im not really sure what the big deal is about our junior year, but i didn't bother saying that to sadie. She thinks that just because
were juniors now that something big is going to happen to us. But i know that its going to be the same as any other year, Boring.
Nothing special ever happens to me.
when we get to school everyone looks the same as they did last year. OMG i hear sadie sayin cutting off my train of thought, " what ?"
I ask nervously.. "look over at kenny. He's toat's checking you out." shut up sad no he's not. He's probab "omg hes coming this way" she cut
off what i was saying again. But i was to busy freaking out to even care.
" hey chels, Looking good" kenny said as he walked past.
Uh thanks kenny i muttered as he passed. r
Why didnt i have the curiage to say anything back. I just stand there like a moron when i have every chance to say something to him
Kenny is the boy i've had a crush on since about the 5th grade. You see kenny has alot of friends, he's what they call " apopular"
and me... im just me. Im boring and shy. I don't have many friends so im not sure what he would see in me.
Finally i hear the bell for homeroom, look at this list sad we dont have homeroom together anymore.
"Okay don't freak out we still have like everything else together"
I know she's right but still we've been in the same class together since she moved here in 6th grade.
"LOOK AT THE LIST,you have homeroom with kenny"
i cant, i cant be in a class with him alone.
"you'll be fine" she said assuring me. Text me if you need me

when i walked into homeroom i had mr.d again. I had him last year to and what i can remember he doesn't put girls near the boys. Hopefully
I won't be near kenny. Considering our lastnames arent really near eachother anyway.
Attention Mr.d began talking
"Im going to assign you seats, i want you in these seats before the bell rings or detention. Are we clear?"
Yes we all mumbeled back.
He started with the front of the room and made his way down each isle. Until he reached the 2 last rows by the window.
I'm glad im still standing because i loved my seat by the window. Maybe this wasn't going to be such a bad year, considering none of
kenny's friends are in my homeroom so maybe he got switched out too, I haven't seen him in here.
" And for the first seat by the window ... Chels that seats all your's"
Thank god no where near kenny. He's not even in here. Now time to text Sadie and see if kennys in there.
"Sorry im late" i hear in a furmilliar voice.
Please don't be kenny, please . But what do you know it is kenny.
Okay so i see 2 seats open. One by mr.d's desk and one right next to me.
Im crossing my fingers hes far away from me.
"Kenny you can sit next to chelsey, is that ok with you mrs.bollinger?
"yes its fine with me" i said, well atleast i tried to say.
Right as he was about to sit down the bell for first period rang.
"where's your next class" i hear someone say "Chels?" i hear them again. So i turned around and saw kenny standing there.
" oh me um im.. instead of talking i showed him my schedule"
Oh social studies, me too he said sounding happy.
