The funny kid in my grade
He's the jokster, the prankster, the one who always makes people laugh by getting in trouble.
Today, during first period he got called down to the office. He was told his mother had just
died this morning. Both of his parents are suffering from cancer, now he has one terminally
ill parent left. Everyone cried today, even the teachers.
I think we finally all now are starting
to understand to never take anything

New Years is my favorite holiday. None of my friends understand why I would chose that over all the others. It's like a brand new beginning. I avoid boys now. I used to look out for them, but I'm so over that. I have the biggest trust issues in the world, & I think that's why. All I ever heard was lies. I don't believe any of them could ever like me for me. I'm not looking for a boyfriend, even though I've been lonely as anything for the past year now, because I don't want to have to find them. I want them to give me a reason to trust them; that's what I need. Someone willing to prove that they'll take very, very good care of me<3

I think most of us fear reaching the
end of our life
and looking back regretting the moments we didn't speak up. When we didn't say "I love you."
When we should've said "I'm sorry." When we didn't stand up for ourselves or someone who needed help.
Real life is a funny thing, you know. In real life, saying the right thing at the right moment is beyond crucial. So crucial, in fact, that most of us start to hesitate, for fear of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. But lately what I've begun to fear more than that is letting the moment pass without saying anything.

we can't accept people who aren't exactly the same as us? I mean listen, I get it, if their terrorists there's no need to accept them. That's not what I'm saying. A normal human being. Someone you go to school with, play sports with, or people you don't even know. Accept them. They're just like you- they can feel, too.
we can't just let people live their lives? We take a look at their face, their body, the brands of clothes on their backs, or their skin color, and automatically assume we know their whole life story like the back of our hand.
we act like the words 'rumor, fact, truth, & false' all have the same definition. We've learned to believe every little thing we hear. From tabloid rumors, to games of telephone, what you're hearing is most likely twisted and wrong. We spread things without thinking twice about it, and when we hear things, we don't dare to confront the actual person. Understand: we know their names, not their stories.
