Today we were watching this thing in Spanish and a bear ate a dog. Everybody else laughed, I was the only one crying.

You Told Me You Loved Me
Chapter 2
Freshman Year: I saw Sam the rest of they day, he was in every single one of my classes: EVERY ONE! After school as we were waiting for our rides we got to know each other for real. His real name is Samuel and he was born in Colorado in 1995. His birthday is the 23 of March and he had lived in two different states until he moved here to Chicago, Il. His father served in the military when he was little and now he doesn't have a real left foot. He now works as a electrician for the state. His mother is a doctor at the hospital down the street.
He learned a lot about me too. I have lived in Chicago my whole life in the same house 15 miles away from the school. I was born on 24 of May in 1996. My mother works at the same hospital, she's a nurse there. My father is not with us anymore. I have no idea where he is now and I don't care to find out. The last time I heard from him was when I was five and he called me and told me he loved me, then hung up. I never knew it was the last time I would hear from him.
When my mother never came his mom drove me home. I thanked her and I found out he lived down the street, he must have been the guy who moved in this past summer who I dropped off my mother's homemade cookies for and I caught a glimpse of a boy who's eyes were bloodshot, his nose was runny, and was wrapped in a blanket. I wonder if he was sick or if it was something else.

You Told Me You Loved Me
Chapter 1
Freshman Year: My mother dropped me off outside school the first day, "I love you Sammy!" "I love you to Mom!" as I slammed the door and stood on the sidewalk. I waved as she drove away and out of site, my first day at this new high school in a new town. The third new town in three years. I turn around and ran into somebody. He knocked me over and I looked up. Oh My Gosh this buy was beautiful. Dark brown hair and blue eyes, obviously captain of some sports team. He introduced himself to me "Oh hi, I'm Sam." I laughed and he asked me what was so funny "My name is Sam too!" He laughed and he gave me his number. I gave him my home phone, no cell phone but that doesn't matter. He told me that he would see me later and ironically he did, a lot.
