They were at the fair, walking around in the rain. Soaked. They held hands and didn't care about what other people thought of them. Engaged in pointless conversations, they talked forever. They stopped and turned at eachother. The rain pouring down her face, and the glimmer in her eyes made her so much more beautiful even when her mascara was running and her hair was wet and curly. He looked amazing in every way. His beautiful green eyes looked directly into her gold eyes. As if he read her mind, they leaned in. They kissed for what seemed like hours, but in reality was only five or ten seconds. She opened her eyes and saw his, still locked in hers. She smiled and thanked God. He thought about how lucky he is. The boy and girl hugged, promising themselves to remeber the moment forever. And when I read this over and over again,
I remember how lucky I am to be "that girl"
