I never said the length of time that it takes people is a FACT. The FACT in this situation is that depression is a disorder with the brain, that must be diagnosed by a real, professional doctor, not yourself. reply

Just because you may not agree, does not mean it is not the truth. It's literally the facts. Depression is a /disorder/, you have to be truly diagnosed with it by a real doctor, not yourself. reply

I have an opinion, and I'm going to show it. I will not simply hide it because some of you feel that I'm sh.tting on your parade, because that's not what I'm doing. I'm giving you the honest truth, and it can't be avoided. I do not think suicide is 'dumb', or anything like that, I support getting those people the necessary help. But someone online isn't going to help you with it or make you feel better after one talk. It just doesn't happen. reply

Actually, this /is/ a quote website. Steve took out the 'vent' category for a reason, because this is not a website to vent directly to the screen.
Witty Profiles is not a website to come and get sappy with a bunch of teenage girls without real problems. I'm well aware that Depression is a disorder with the mind, it does not just happen. it develops, and it eats away at you until it starts controlling your life and what you do on a daily basis. Anyone with real depression is not suddenly 'cured' or 'un-suicidal' by having one conversation with a teenage girl on the internet. They need to go to therapy, someone who is professional and can get that person the help they actually need. reply
