The days go by where she stares off into the night sky,
trying to get her mind off this pain
hoping the following day there will be courage she can gain
she goes out and tries to cover the pain with smiles,
but her body is just so weak, that she falls
she looks up to the sky, and thinks why?
she can't even remember the last day that actually went right
now the friends, lovers and laughs are out of sight,
but the bags of ice and braces are by her side
and forever they'll stay, at her bedside.
the meds pile up, along with the tears
she puts on a smile to hide her fears.
no one ever suspects a thing,
from the little innocent girl that will soon lose her wings
she says she can't take no more,
one day you'll find her on the floor,
looking down from heaven, telling you, "told you i couldn't handle it."
should have believe her, but no your lighting candles
internal pain aint nothing to joke about,
when all she feels in life is fading out
you're going to miss her, don't lie,
all because you couldn't help, and forgot to say goodbye...
