You shouldn't ruin your relationship for someone else. I'd have him talk to her, and to tell her she'll find someone else. Everyone's been hurt by a guy, but dumping him because of her will just make him bitter and sad. Then he'll be sad and so will she and so will you and no one really wins. If you think this girl is seriously depressed, wouldn't it be smarter to tell a counselor or a parent, not ruin your relationship?
