I adopted a rabbit
Yesterday my mum took me to
the RSPCA but i want to start at the beggining... I had two
rabbits Poppie and Bubblesthe were gorgeous blue lion heads
and i loved them the world. they alays seem to be ables to get
out of the garden but we dont know how. It worried me sick
every time, this time Poppie had got lost. I have no idea where
she is gone. there is a brick wall at the back leading on to a feild
but there is a 10 foot frop so nothing like a fox could of got over
and even if they had there was no signs of her being in distress
eg. fur on the grass. I miss her so mucha nd it hasnt really sunk
in i keep expecting to out in to the garden and see her sparkling
eyes and she her run around. She has been gone for nearly 2
weeks and my dad has checked under the shed to see if shes
stuck but shes no there. Her sister looks
depressed,lonely,bored and startled by the fact shes gone. So
my mum too me to the RSPCA to get advice on what rabbit to
get and what to do. I had asked about different rabbits that i
saw but they either had to come in pairs, couldnt go with other
rabbits or were babies and he reccomended that it was better to
not get a very young one.Then he picked up this gorgeous
male rabbit he was so adorable. Even though mine is a girl all
the males are not able to have children so its ok. We have
bought him now we just have to wait for them to call us and
they can check on where he is sleeping and the houswe to
check if its suitable. I am so glad that i am doin this it made me
feel so good. He has been in there since before april which is
along time and he is so friendsly. He let me stroke him and pick
him up and whn you did he cuddles in you. It always makes me
feel so sad when i go the RSPAC all the miss treated animals
but it makes you feel warm inside when you leave knowing you
have helped it life and changed it forever.I didnt want to go to a
pet store such as pets at home becuase here you are really
changing its life, they get checked every month, they get all
there injections, the males cant reproduce.
