The sad moment when you realize how alone you actually are. No one ever messages you on Facebook first or texts you first or anything. So it gets to the point where you don’t want to put in the effort with people who don’t put in any effort for you, so you end up spending your life at home, never going anywhere.

I feel like I'm easily replaceable.
I’m that friend. The one that devotes to all of their friendships. I’ll be there for you. Until you find someone better, find someone who can give you more, but I’ll still try to be there. I’ll be hurt by you, but I’ll stay quiet. I’ll always be there. Whether it’s late at night or early in the morning, you’ll always have me. When you feel like the world has walked out on you, I’ll be the friends that comes in to rescue you. I’ll do cute little things to make sure you’re smiling. I’ll gift you things with a lot of meaning just for the hell of it. If you’re upset or need someone, I’ll run there. I know that I’m not the greatest, I’m not the most talented, or have the most things, but I’ll be there, until you find someone who can do more for you or is more exciting than me. I think… I think when it’s all over, it just come back in flashes, you know? It’s like a kaleidoscope of memories… the way it just all comes back. But he never does. I think part of me knew the second I saw him that this would happen. It’s not really anything he said. Or anything he did. It was… the feeling that came along with it and… crazy thing is I don’t know if I’m ever gonna feel that way again. But I don’t know if I should. I knew his world moved to fast and burned too bright, but I just thought how can the devil be pulling you towards someone who looks… so much like an angel when he smiles at you. Maybe he knew that when he saw me. I guess I just lost my balance. I think that the worst part of it all wasn’t losing him. It was losing me.
I don’t know if you know who you are till you lose who you are.
