Chapter 10 ;
I ran up to my room. "I hate you!" I screamed down to my father, and than I slammed my bedroom door shut. I laid down on my bed silent, I didn't feel guilty at all that I said that to him, because I meant it. "Hey Jamie." I heard from my window, I looked out of it, and I saw Sam, standing in his room. I had tears in my eyes. "Hey." I replied. "What's wrong?" He asked me sweetly. "My dad says I can't hangout with you, because him, and your mom have some 'problems'." I told him angrily. "Oh, well than i'll leave you alone." He said to me sadly. "No! I don't care, I'm not listening to him." I told him, just before he shut his window. "Are you sure?" He asked. "Yeah, I'm sure." I told him. "I'm sorry about what happened at the park, I couldn't help it." He said to me shyly. "It's okay, I totally forgot about it." I told him, as I stood at my window just like what he was doing. We were there for a long time, telling jokes, laughing, talking, I liked talking to him, I felt like I could tell him anything. "Jamie!" I heard my father scream from downstairs. "I have to go, bye." I told Sam as I shut the window. "Yeah?" I screamed back. "Come down here, me and Debrah need to announce something to you and your brothers." Ugh, Debrah, my fathers girlfriend, I disliked her. I walked downstairs to the dining room where they were all sitting, I sat down too. "Well, me and Debrah.....ARE GETTING MARRIED!" My father said happily as he kissed her. My face flushed. "Wha- wha- what?" I said confused. But before they could answer I stormed out of the house bare foot, I didn't care, I just needed to get out of there. I can't believe my dad would do that to us. I walked down the street back and forth it was dark, but i just kept walking back and forth.
I woke up the next morning thinking about how my father could betray us like that, and thinking about Sam, and how we almost kissed. I felt like just going to Sam's house and sitting there with him, telling him what my father did. But, my dad would murder me for talking to him. But I was determined on hanging out with Sam today. I looked out my window and saw Sam on his computer, I threw one of my brothers toy cars and it hit his window, he jumped, it was funny because I scared him, but he saw me, he smiled, I smiled back. He walked up to his window, and opened it "Are you trying to give me a heart attack?" He asked while laughing, while he was laughing he exposed his perfect white teeth. I laughed again. "Do you want to hangout today?" I asked him. "I thought your dad was going to kill you if he saw you hanging out with me?" He asked. "I don't care, what he won't know won't hurt him." I replied. "My house than, my mom will be gone all day." He said to me. I nodded. "By the way, cute pajama." He said as he laughed. I looked down to see what I was wearing, I was wearing an old spong bob square pants shirt, and regular pajama pants. I blushed than laughed. "Thank you." I told him.
After I had breakfast I told my dad, I was going to a friends house that lived down the street, I was acting nice just so he could say yes and I could go and be with Sam although I was still furious with him. He aloud me. I walked out the door, and quickly ran to Sam's front porch and knocked. He opened the door, he was wearing plaid shorts and a blue Hollister shirt. He was so cute. He let me in. I entered his house, it was big, just like my house, well my mom's house. "This way." He said as he leaded me to the living room. He sat on his couch and I sat beside him. Than he turned on his T. V every once in a while he glanced at me, i glanced back. "Are your parents divorced too?" I asked him randomly. "No...my dad died." He told me sadly. "Oh, I'm so sorry." I told him. God, I'm so stupid. "Its okay, he died when I was like 5." He told me. "Oh, do you have any brothers or sisters?" I asked him curiously. "Naw, you have two brothers right?" He asked. "Yup, they are annoying as hell." I told him. It was kind of awkward because we didn't know what to talk about, but yesterday when we were talking at our windows it was different. "My dad's engaged." I said in a fake excited voice. "Congrats." He said to me. "Yeah, not really, I hate the woman he is engaged too, as a matter of fact I hate my father." I said to him. "I feel the same way about my mom." He said to me. "Oh." I said. *SMASH* I jumped close to Sam. I looked around and it was just a vase that had fallen and broke. I looked at him, we were so close. He got up and grabbed a broom and swept it up. "Sorry about that." He told me. "Follow me." He told me as he began to walk into this room. He disappeared out of sight, I got up and walked to his direction. *SPLASH* Water dripped all over me. He had sprayed me with a water bottle. I grabbed another water bottle opened it and sprayed it on him, I started to run before he could spray me. As I ran he chased me, soon I wasn't fast enough he grabbed me lifted me up, and took me into his washroom he put me in his bathtub, and turned the shower on, I was soaking in a matter of seconds, but, I was also laughing so hard. I pulled him in beside me, he was soon soaked too, we were both crying of laughter, I shut it off because we were wet enough. Sam leaned in closer, and closer, I leaned in closer and closer too, we kissed.
