    Chapter 6
    Thanks Tiffany.
Why would she confuse me to be that annoying snob that's so full of herself?
"I'm not Tiffany.." I said, raising my eyebrow in confusion, while pursing my lips worriedly.
"Oh.. who are you?" she mumbled, sitting up in her bed.
My eyes twinkled madly in horror; did she really not remember who I was?
"I'm your best friend! We were driving to school this morning, and you got into an accident. Do you remember anything at all?" I asked, with my voice cracking at every word.
She shook her head hesitantly, while I screamed for the doctor.
"What's going on here?! Is Maria okay?" her parents shrieked, barging in, while the doctor arrived shortly after, with what I assumed to be test results.
    "W-what's w-wrong with her, w-why doesn't s-she rememeber m-me?" I stammered.
The doctor gave me a small smile, as he put on his reading glasses, getting ready to deliver the news, and I could tell it was going to be bad.
"I am Dr. Cambode, and Maria was the one driving, so she took a bigger impact than you. Luckily, you escaped with just a headache, but Maria took a hit to the head on the steering wheel." he explained, showing several x-rays that they took of Maria.
"What does add up to.." Maria's father urgently begged.
"It means that she has amnesia, and we don't know if it's temporary or permanant." Dr. Cambode announced, sulking back into the chair that was next to the hospital bed.
"So I'm just a complete stranger to her?" I whispered, as I could sense the bitter feeling of tears forming in my tired eyes.
I couldn't bear the thought of my own best friend not remembering me.
Even though I was shaking of fear, there was still a thought that was prancing around in my brain.
"Doctor, if she has amnesia, then why did she call me Tiffany?" I murmured, staring at Maria blankly, who was spacing out at the ceiling.
"Well, a girl around your age named Tiffany visited her just an hour ago, so I presume that Maria thought you were Tiffany to come back to see her." he said while writing on his clipboard.
"What? Why would she come to visit Maria?" I hissed softly.
"I'm not sure, you can ask this Tiffany girl that when you see her again." Doctor Cambode said, as he shuffled out of the room.
My face turned to a shade of ghostly white.
I felt so lightheaded, like I was going to black out just like this morning.
"Christina, there you are! You were supposed to come back after you went to the bathroom!" my mother said lowly, walking into the room.
"I-I'm sorry, I just n-needed to see Maria." I mumbled, looking at her confuzzled face at me.
"Well, I think the both of you need some rest, so say goodbye to Maria, and let's get back to your room." my mother muttered, waiting outside.
I walked slowly out of the room, it was no use saying bye.
It's crazy how someone who used to be a huge part of your life, can be gone in a second.

    Chapter 5
"What is Maria Vasquez's room number please?" I panted heavily to the lady that handled all that stuff in the waiting room.
I was still exausted physically and mentally, but Maria was practically like my sister, and I wasn't just going to sit in bed and hope that she was okay.
"Are you a family member of hers?" she sneered, glaring up and down at me.
"I'm her cousin from.. Wisconsin." I said with clenched teeth, annoyed with her rudeness to me when she has never met me before.
"I think I've seen you here before.." she mumbled, with a raised eyebrow at me.
"Can you just please hurry up! I just want to see my cousin!" I growled, getting seriously irritated that she was stalling from giving me the room number.
"Alright, alright. She's on the 5th floor, room 249." she muttered, as I gave her a sarcastic smile, running to the elevator was slowly closing it's door.
"What's got you twisted in a knot?" I heard a sneery voice ask, and I turned around to only see that it was Tiffany, holding a large basket filled with different kinds of goodies.
"Who are those for?" I mumbled, avoiding her question.
"My aunt." she sighed, "She apparently ate some cookies she was allergic to, so I decided to bring her a gift basket, being the great person I am. Anyways, why are you here?"
"Nothing, nothing at all." I muttered.
Suddenly, her annoying, beeping phone buzzed, as she took it out like she was a secret agent.
"Hah, Maria got in a car accident! That clumsy piece of junk shouldn't even be driving." Tiffany snickered.
"Don't you dare say that about her!" I hissed, snatching her phone away.
"Oh, and you were in that crash too! This is hilarious how you guys are so smart to be driving on the wrong side of the road." she smirked.
"Shut your mouth!" I shrieked, as I shoved her, her body slamming against the elevator wall, as the doors opened slowly, revealing a crowd of people waiting impatiently with their business phones.
I sighed deeply, dropping her precious iPhone on the ground, running to Maria's room, to see her parents anxiously waiting outside.
"How is Maria!" I asked, my lips trembling at every word.
"She's resting in the bed, thank goodness. I shouldn't have never given her the car, she wouldn't have been in the hospital then!" the mother sobbed, cupping her hands around her face.
"No, it's not your fault! It's nobody's." the father assured, giving her a hug.
I sneakily crept into Maria's hospital room, while I saw her laying there ghostly on the bed, and it made me want to cry almost.
"Maria, are you okay?" I whispered, putting my cold, veiny hands onto her arms.
Her eyes shuttered open slowly, and I could tell they were tired, sleepy, and mortified.
"Yeah." she croaked, as her head turned over to the window.
The weather was mostly cloudy, a dark shade of gray, as the snow was once again drifting from the sky and falling onto the beautiful town of Chicago.
I could tell she was deeply thinking, even if she was close to dozing off again.
"I'll be by your side, that's what best friends are for." I said softly, as she turned back towards me.
    "Thanks Tiffany."

    Chapter 4
My eyes flickered opened as the smell of junky cafeteria food and anti-bacterial cleaners filled my slightly bruised nose.
I heard the faint beeping of the machine that was attached to my chest.
I groaned slightly, adjusting my body to the bed that I was sitting on, rubbing my head of where the huge migraine was going from.
I soon realized it was a hospital, and I was attached to a bunch of equipment.
"Christina baby, you're awake!" my mother exclaimed, running in through the door with a slice of dreamy chocolate cake that made my stomach growl of hunger.
"I was so worried about you." she whispered, giving me a hug and abundant kisses on my forehead, trying not to give me more pain than I'm already in.
"Oh I'm glad you're awake Christina." a blonde female said, in a doctor's coat with a clipboard.
"Yeah, me too." I mumbled, still a bit woozy.
"What was the last thing you remembered before you passed out?" she asked, clicking her pen on the clipboard, getting ready to write whatever I was going to say.
"Umm, Maria & I were trying to school, and then I saw a light, and the next thing you know, we're in a ditch with an suffocating airbag in my face." I murmured, with my voice trailing off.
"Is she going to be okay doctor?" my mom pleaded, brushing a strand of my hair away from my glistening eyes that were dull at the moment.
"Well, we're still waiting on one more test result, but she should be fine, since she remembers what happened. Just keep her in bed for the rest of the day and tomorrow, and make sure that she gets a lot of vitamins, no junk food." the doctor explained.
I repeatedly nodded at everything she said, even if I wasn't even paying attention, I would just rather go back to sleep already.
Suddenly, a thought came into my head, Maria.
"W-Where's M-Maria? Is she o-okay?!" I stammered, up and alert.
The doctor looked at me with sorrow, not answering.
    "Oh my gosh, she isn-"
"There's nothing as severe that I know of, but the man treating her told me that she is in a condition and only family members can visit her right now."
I sighed of relief, but there was still a great amount of anxiousness in me.
"H-How serious i-is it?" I asked, with my voice cracking at every word I said, my fingers tingling madly with worriedness.
"I'm not sure, but if I am informed, you will be the first one I tell it to. I'll be back soon, I have to go check on your test results." she smiled, exiting the room.
"Sweetie, don't worry, she's in good hands. I got you some food from the hospital cafeteria, because I knew you were going to be hungry when you woke up!" my mother chuckled.
It was a tray of green slob, mushed up fruit, and what looks like meat loaf, along with a cup of tap water with a little fly swirling around on a piece of crushed ice.
It was revolting, why don't they get decent food?
I looked over at my mother, who was enjoying that slice of cake, while I got this horrid plate of what they think is food.
I pushed the disgusting mixture away, immediately losing my appetite.
All I could think about is how Maria is doing.

    Chapter 3
"So does this mean we're friends again?" I asked with a small smile as I heard constant car honking outside, and it was Maria parked right outside of my house.
"What do you think? Now get your butt in the car." she grinned, as I sat in the front passenger seat. "Where are we going?" I questioned, as she drove the exact opposite way from the school.
"Starbucks, I woke up extra early just to give you a ride." she muttered, while I let out a small snicker.
I entered the mini room right near a supermarket, my nose filled with the delightful scents that made me feel warm on the inside.
Maria ordered an eggnog latte, while I just had to get the hazelnut hot chocolate that was practically begging my nose to get, along with a plain bagel.
"It's on me." I smiled, handing the cashier with fiery red hair a crisp $20 dollar bill.
We soon got back in the car and headed towards school, but it was too late to try to beat the morning traffic, as cars were lined up, trying to get into the parking lot.
"Cr/p, this is going to waste my gas!" Maria groaned, hitting the car horn repeatedly.
"Whatever, I'm taking a shortcut." she mumbled, turning to the empty lane that was going the opposite way, accelerating towards the school.
"What are you doing, you're going to get us in trouble!" I hissed, looking at her like she was some psycho.
"It's better than sitting back there and doing nothing!" she shouted, her voice gobbled up in all the radio blasts and the car honks.
"We're going to get pulled over, and you're probably going to get your car taken away!" I whispered lowly, looking ahead to see if I could see a car coming out from a corner.
"Take a chill pill, I wouldn't have gotten my license if I didn't know what I was doing." she said.
I took a deep breath and sipped my hot chocolate, trying to calm down.
I guess everybody was stuck at the school parking lot, so there won't be anyone driving in the lane for quite a while.
"I guess it's better than being back there." I murmured softly.
"See, we're almost there!" she assured me, rolling up the windows as snowflakes began to lightly dance elegantly in the air.
I nodded, as a light flashed from my right side of the car.
"Maria, watch out!" I shrieked, taking control of the wheel as we were about to collide into another car.
The car swerved crookedly, as we ran into something hard enough to crush the front rear.
"Are you okay Christina?" Maria panted heavily.
I opened my mouth to answer, but the airbag managed to explode into my face.
I felt my eyes hallucinating as I heard sirens and engines, not knowing if the sounds were actually there or if they were in my head.
"Are you girls okay?" a responder asked, popping the airbags that were on top of us, giving us room to inhale and exhale normally.
"Ermm, uh, agabahh." Maria mumbled, her eyes swirling around.
I knew for a fact that Maria has a big case of motion sickness, so this obviously made her want to hurl, and I was right, since she vomited on the person that was carrying her out of the car.
"Are you okay miss?" a man in a hospital uniform asked, feeling my head.
"We have to get you to an emergency room, to see if you have a concussion or not." he shouted, putting his arm around me, dragging me out, since part of the car roof was dented.
That was the last I remembered before closing my eyes.

    Chapter 1
"Why are you wearing that?" Kelly snickered, her ebony black eyes scanning the top half of my body, as I came downstairs to eat breakfast.
"What's wrong with it?" I frowned, looking down at my sky blue t-shirt under a gray Minnie Mouse pullover.
"Nothing, nothing at all." she smirked, while scrolling on her brand new iPhone 5.
Of course she got it, because she begged mom for weeks, and eventually she gave in, since she couldn't take Kelly's annoyingness anymore.
If only she knew that I had to deal with that every day.
"You have a Facebook?" she gasped, her eyes widening at the screen.
"Yeah." I muttered, pouring myself a freshly squeezed glass of orange juice.
"Don't add me, and your profile picture is so amateur. Webcam pics are soo last year!" she said, wiggling her plucked, lined-up eyebrows at every word.
"You're so full of it, come on, I don't want to be late to school again, just because you forgot to put on your eyeliner." I muttered, grabbing my bag as I walked out the door.
I stepped out into the brisky air, as the clouds were forming together turning a light shade of gray, a sign that it was going to snow later on today, as usual in the wonderful winter time.
My cocoa brown UGG boots pressed onto the snow from last night, leaving a mark every step I take.
"Hurry up! Before it snows, I don't want my car to have problems!" Kelly shrieked, adjusting her tight tank top that went up to her belly button.
"It's going to snow, why are you wearing that?" I mimicked, as she just rolled her eyes at me.
    {X} {x} {X}
"Get off around here, I don't want people seeing me come out of the same car as you." Kelly demanded, unlocking the door on my side.
"Gee, thanks for the ride." I murmured, getting out, as I watched her speedily drive away.
I huffed out a deep grunt, and I began walking towards school.
After 5 long minutes of stepping in mushy, melted snow remains, I finally arrived and met up with Maria, who looked even more ecstatic than she usually is.
"Okay, why are you ten times happier than usual today?" I chuckled, pushing a strand of my natural, wavy caramel brown hair behind my ear.
"I got a car!" she squealed, dangling a pair of keys in my face, as the ends of my pale pink lips curved into a big grin.
"Oh my gosh, this is great news! Which one is it?" I asked, looking around in the parking lot.
"It's the one over there." she giggled, pointing over to a shiny, silver Toyota Corolla.
"I bet it's not even yours." I heard a malicious voice say, as I turned my head, and it was Tiffany Cruz.
I guess you could say she is popular, but not as popular as Kelly.
"Honey, don't be jealous that I got a car before you. How many trashcans did you hit this time?" Maria asked sweetly in a sarcastic tone.
"What did you say?" Tiffany growled.
"You heard me, are you deaf or something?" Maria shot back.
"I'll spare peasants like you, but mess with me again, and you'll be sorry." she hissed.
"Move!" she exclaimed to me, as she pushed me to the side, walking aggresively away, probably going to the bathroom to complain to her "friends".
"I'm your best friend, why did you just let her talk to me like that?" she frowned, glaring at me.
"Well, maybe you shouldn't have been so rude to her." I whispered, and it somehow came out in a mean tone, like I was defending Tiffany.
"Are you on her side or something?" she snapped.
I didn't answer, since this was probably the first major fight we've ever had.
"Whatever, good luck finding a ride home today."

    Prologue
My name is Christina Daleson, and I'm 15 years old.
I live in a two-story house that's covered in a white blanket that is snow in a small neighborhood in Chicago, with my lovely mother and not-so-lovely sister, Kelly.
Kelly has never cared for me, since she's always chosen to ignore me at school, because apparently she has a reputation to keep, and she can't keep hanging around the "little people".
Who cares right, if she's going to shun me, I might as well do the same.
I'm used to having to live without certain people in my life, like my father, who is serving in the military right now overseas.
I haven't heard from him in a year, and I miss him terribly.
But I just have to realize that it's for the best, since he's protecting our country and doing it out of the kindness of his heart.
At least I have a best friend that helps me through this, Maria.
We've been best friends since middle school, and we have never kept secrets from each other.
Being the crazy teenagers we are, we just have to know what's been going around the school, like the gossip and the rumors and all that crazy stuff.
Maria persuaded me to make a Facebook account, and I've got to say, it's a neat way to stalk the people I know from school.
A certain quote has always been going on in my mind when I'm on it; Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.
But that's a lie, because words do hurt.

    The Big Move
    Epilogue
    Sierra's P.O.V.
We all threw our caps in the air as we all screamed and hugged each other.
That's right, I have officially graduated.
Dylan & I decided to stay in North Dakota and spend our senior year here, and I haven't regretted moving here ever since.
The weather was excellent, not to mention the kind people here.
Dylan & I were both valedictorian, which was the best part of graduation if you ask me.
He had stayed by my side, and he wouldn't even dare to look at another girl, he really was the one.
"We're free." I giggled as I jumped into his arms and he twirled me around.
"I'll be right back." he whispered as he put me down and ran up to the stage with a microphone.
I raised my eyebrow in confusion.
What was he going to do?
"Hey guys, can I have your attention please?" he asked as the crowd went silent.
"I have an announcement to make, and it involves my gorgeous girlfriend, Sierra. Come on up here!" H exclaimed as the crowd went into "aww's".
I blushed a dark shade of crimson red as I hopped up onto the stage with him.
"Sierra, you are the love of my life, and I can't last a d/mm second without you. If I do, I'll go crazy." he admitted to everyone.
I smiled enormously like an idiot as everyone shouted "get some!".
He continued, "What I'm trying to say is.."
    "Will you marry me?"
The crowd erupted into shocked gasps and "say yes!", as I stood there speechless.
Dylan looked at me nervously, worried that I might say no.
"Yes, I will marry you." I smiled as the crowd roared into screams as Dylan planted a romantic, long kiss onto my lips.
All of this wouldn't have happened if I didn't go to England.
I'm glad I made The Big Move.
    THE END.
thank you to everyone that read this story, I will be starting a new one. <3

    Sierra's P.O.V.
"They just told me to get out, after I told them off." I whispered as I rested my head on Dylan's shoulders, as we sat on the curb.
"Whatever, you don't need them. If they can't see how amazing you are, then they really are screwed up." he muttered, which made me smile.
I then realized something, I don't need my parents when I have someone who loves me unconditionally like Dylan.
"Where are we going to stay now?" I sniffled, sucking it up.
He then lifted me onto his lap and then kissed my forehead. "I'm sure my parents would mind if we're two weeks early." he grinned.
    ҳ̸Ҳ̸ҳ
"Oh Dylan, she's gorgeous! Better than your last girlfriend." Mrs. Cashore praised as she was pinching my cheeks like crazy.
    "Mooooom." he groaned, feeling embarassed.
"It's okay Dylan, I like your mom." I giggled.
"See? She has better taste too!" she said happily while giving Dylan a hug.
She then turned to me. "Sweetheart, you can stay here as long as you want! You've kept my baby out of trouble in London, and it's how I can repay you!"
I smiled, "Oh thank you, you're really kind."
"She speaks the truth! Anyways Dylan, go take her out for some food, she must be starving! I have to head to the grocery store anyways, so I'll see you guys soon!" Mrs. Cashore winked as she handed Dylan a $100 bill and left the room.
"Your mom is waay better than mines." I teased.
"Well, let's get going!" he chuckled as he took my hand and drove me to a beautiful, grassy park with the sprinklers running.
"I thought we were going to eat? Grass and nuts don't sound delicious." I joked.
He then tugged on my hand as we ran through the plains, getting soaked by the second.
"D-Dylan! I-It's freezing, and I-I'm w-wearing b-boots!" I stuttered as I tried to release from his grasp, but he wouldn't budge.
"Have some fun Sierra!" he yelled as I managed to laugh.
He let go of me as I followed him, spreading my arms out like airplane wings.
He then somehow managed to tackle me from behind, as we fell onto the ground, laughing as hard as we could until our stomachs ached.
Somehow, all the sounds going off had been muted, and it was as if it was only us in the universe.
"Sierra, ever since we've been going out, it's been the best time of my life, and I don't know what I could do without you." he breathed onto my neck, as he was on top of me.
"Dylan, you don't know how much I love you." I whispered, as he interrupted what I was going to say next with a passionate kiss that gave me sparks.
"I love you more than you could imagine."

    Sierra's P.O.V.
My parents offered to pay for the cab fare, since they just "can't be bothered" to pick me up.
We arrived at my house 15 minutes later, as I entered the living room with Dylan.
They both ran out of kitchen, grinning enormously.
"Oh my gosh, Sierra, I missed you!" my mother yelled as she embraced me in a tight hug.
"You've been getting good grades right?" my father asked as he was the next one to hug me, as I nodded, making him smile.
As soon as the hugging event was finished, my mother soon realized that Dylan was standing there awkwardly, and then turned to him.
"Who are you young man?" she asked with confusion.
"I'm your daughter's b-boyfriend." he mumbled softly, as my mother raised her eyebrow.
My father nodded, as he was okay with whoever I date, as long as they looked rich and successful.
"When have you started dating my Sierra?" she asked sternly.
"Where did you take her out on your first date?"
"Have you ever acted improperly with her?"
"You better hope that your relationship with her didn't mess with her schoolwork!"
"Don't worry, I haven't, she's an excellent student." he assured my mother, making me giggle a bit.
"Dylan, will you be staying with us?" my father brought up.
"Oh actually yes, if you don't mind. I can stay at the hotel if it bothers you." he said, trying hard to make a good impression.
"No, that's perfectly fine! We have a guestroom next to Sierra's, so don't even think of trying to get her in be-"
"Umm okay, I'm going to show Dylan to his room now!" I shouted, not wanting him to finish that.
"No actually, Dylan's a smart boy, isn't he? He can find the room for himself and settle down, we need to talk." my mother urged, as Dylan rocketed upstairs.
"I don't like this boy." my mother said simply with her eyebrows wiggling at every word she says.
"What do you mean you don't like him?" I asked with disappointment.
She then crossed her arms. "What ever happened to Gabe? He wanted to visit you so badly! Did you guys get in a fight or something?"
"Gabe is a loser." I muttered.
"Sierra, you do not say that about other people!" my father joined in.
"You guys say way worse things about other people! Plus, it's the truth, Gabe is a loser, and I'm glad I dumped him! You guys aren't exactly the best rolemodels!" I snarled.
They both looked at me at shock, as I was just going to hear more sass from them.
    But surprisingly, they remained silent.
My parents both exchanged each other glances, as if they could read each others' minds.
They nodded and turned to me.
"Get out of the house, now." my mother said simply.
    "W-what?" I stuttered.
"If you're not going to respect our wishes, you're not going to be living here." they both said.
"You guys are overreacting!!" I screamed.
"Sierra," my mother shouted. "You have an hour to grab all your sh/t, and get out of here. You can come back when you're ready to apologize."
I was already in tears, as they were spilling out of my eyes uncontrollably, as I clenched my teeth.
"Fine, I never want to see any of your d/mn faces again."

After Christmas & Happy New Year's, the storm finally cleared up, as it was safe to leave the hills.
I didn't want to leave, but my parents would freak if I ditched school.
I arrived back to the dorm, to find Angie snooping around and messing things up in my room.
"What are you doing?" I asked, scaring her.
"Where the f/ck have you been? I was so close to finding a new roommate, but now I guess I'm stuck with you since you're still here." she groaned.
"I missed you too." I said sarcastically as she left the room.
I checked my phone as there was a signal here, and wowwie was I popular.
78 missed calls, 46 text messages, and 14 new messages in my voice mail.
I texted my parents to let them know that I was okay, and I wished my friends back in South Dakota happy holidays, and apologized that I couldn't make it.
    *6 MONTHS LATER*
"I'm really excited for you to meet my parents." I mumbled, trying to sound enthusiastic.
    "No you're not." he teased.
It was finally summer vacation, and I went back to South Dakota until I had to go back to school, and I decided to take Dylan with me.
He's going to stay with us for 2 weeks, and then he's going to head back to North Dakota so he can spend time with his family.
I'm going to miss him a lot, so we're going to call, text, and videochat every single day.
It was summer, it's not like we had plans.
Gabe finally gave up after a month, since he started to hate me like Angie did.
He did stay at our school for the rest of the school year, and he's asking his mother if he can stay for his senior year, oh gosh.
"Okay, fine. They're complete jerks." I muttered.
"Aww, I bet they're not." he chuckled.
"Oh, you'll believe it when you see it." I giggled as I kissed him on the cheek.
We were on the plane, and I looked out the window at the vast, dark blue ocean that roamed for miles and miles.
I soon fell asleep on Dylan's shoulder, since my phone was out of battery, and I hated the movie that they were showing for "plane entertainment".
I woke up by the sound of the peppy and friendly pilot of the plane.
"Good evening passengers! We are now arriving to our destination of South Dakota, so please buckle your seatbelts, and thank you for choosing our airlines."
I sighed deeply, as I didn't know what to expect from my parents.
"Hey," Dylan whispered. "Are you okay?"
I turned to him as he planted a nice, sweet kiss on my lips, which made me feel ten times better.
"Yeah, I'm going to be fine with you by my side."
Sorry if the story is speeding up, I'm ending this story at Chapter 25 , including an epilogue. I usually go up to Chapter 35, but there's really nothing else to write.

    Chapter 22
    Sierra's P.O.V.
"This is nice." I whispered as I rested my head on Dylan's chest, wrapped around
"You made my Christmas better." he said as he kissed my forehead.
So I decided to spend my Christmas with Dylan, since I wasn't even going to bother to try to rush to the airport and catch my plane.
It's rude to say this, but I actually didn't want to spend Christmas with my parents.
Let's just say last year was, eh.
"Oh darling, why did you pick that dress? I wanted you to wear the satin red dress with the ruffles!" my mother groaned.
I was wearing a flowy, white mini-dress with rhinestones around the waist.
I rolled my eyes as I took a seat at one of the fanciest restaurants in town, as you had to reserve a month before you actually go.
I never liked restaurants like these, because it's so much effort to always be formal.
"Mom, Dad, can't we just eat at like a fast food restaurant once, for a change?" I asked as I couldn't read anything on the menu, because it was in italian or french.
"Fast foods are fattening, and why would you want to eat with ordinary people like that?" my father muttered as he took a sip of his lemon water.
"Why do you think so lowly of other people that don't own fancy dresses, eat at expensive restaurants, or go to private schools? You underestimate them, because they can be really cool people." I murmured.
"Sierra, do not talk to your father like that!" my mother warned.
"I'm sorry." I sighed, secretly rolling my eyes.
"Anyways, Sierra, what did you get for presents from your friends at school?" my father asked, forgetting that I confronted him.
"Well, I got a $20 giftcard, and then I got a sweater from the mall, an-"
"20 dollars only? I don't think you should hang out with that person, if she's going to be that cheap!" my mother said, as she pouted.
"Mom, it's just a present, at least she got me one." I mumbled.
"My friendship isn't based on how much money my friends spend on getting me presents!" I exclaimed softly, getting annoyed that they're judging my friends.
"Okay, let's settle down. So, what did you get for English class, since you're always complaining about that class?" my father questioned, trying to cut out the tension between us.
"Well, I got a really high B, and she just cou-"
My father nearly choked on his food, as it just arrived. "B? How could you get a B?"
"She wouldn't even raise my grade, and it's no-"
"Sierra, do not blame your teacher for your grade! You clearly need to study! We're getting you a tutor so you can learn more over break!" my mother sternly said.
I groaned loudly, as I literally wanted to pull my hair out, strand by strand.
"And don't even get me started on what you wear to school! I know it's free dress, but please wear shirts that have sleeves, you're not some skimpy model!" my mother shouted lowly.
I'd prefer to snuggle with Dylan then criticism by my parents, any day.

After that, there was a long silence.
Awkward, I thought as I made eye contact with the fridge right behind him.
"So.." Dylan finally said, "Why are you all the way up here in the hills? I'd thought you'd be going back to South Dakota for break.."
"Well, it's a long story, and since there's an intense storm, I don't think I can make the plane in time." I sighed deeply.
"W-well, m-my parents were s-supposed to come here, b-but all the planes a-are cancelled for a couple of days b-because of the snow." he stuttered.
"Oh, so you're here alone?" I mumbled, trying to make it less gawky than it already is.
"So, are you going to be staying here?" he asked, licking his chapped lips.
"Yeah, I guess, if you don't mind." I shrugged.
"Oh, that's fine with me, I mean, I wouldn't would you freezing outside." he chuckled fakely.
"Are you mad at me?" I blurted out.
I couldn't take any of this small talk anymore, I had to know what he was feeling.
He tensed up, as he dug his hands into his pockets. "I just have a question, why would you cheat on me with Gabe?"
"I didn't, I promise. He came to my dorm, and I told him to stop and get over me! And bam, he just kissed me. It was too much for me, and I didn't react." I explained.
I continued, "My heart still belongs to you Dylan. Please, I'm so sorry that I hurt you."
There was another long silence, and I was getting annoyed that he didn't say something.
I really hoped that he believed me, because it's the truth.
Now that I think about it, I'm starting to think I was on some kind of whacko medicine if I was dating Gabe for that long and not realizing he was a loser.
All of a sudden, he pulled me in, as our lips were pressed against each other.
As we released, I couldn't help but smile like an idiot.. "So does this mean that you forgive me?"
"You're too cute." he breathed as he pulled me in for another magical kiss.
"I missed you." I mumbled as he started kissing my neck.
"I missed you more, I think I was gonna go crazy if I had to last another day without you." he whispered as I giggled.
He always knew the right thing to say.
"So, are you going to tell me how you got here, when the campus is about 10 miles away, and you can't even read a map?" he chuckled.
We sat down on the couch, as I told him everything.
"I swear I'm going to punch that Gabe loser the next time I see him." he muttered.
"It's okay, he's not worth your time."
    Merry Christmas everyone!
Thank you so much for reading, I appreciate every single one of my readers! Happy Holidays! <3

    Chapter 20
    Sierra's P.O.V.
I licked my lips as I tried to run fast, searching desperately for shelter before the sky turned completely dark.
After about an half hour, I gave up as I layed underneath a tall tree, as I panted heavily.
I didn't know where I was, or where I was going.
I wanted to cry, but it would just make my tears freeze up and stick on my face.
I closed my eyes and breathed heavily, as I was probably going to be stuck here for a long time in this frosty place.
As I sighed, I saw a light coming my way, as I squinted my eyes.
Was there really somebody here that would be able to rescue me?
I immediately jumped up and waved my hands in the air, like I just don't care (see what i did there)
As it came closer, I realized that it was a snowmobile.
It finally stopped as it was a couple of feet away from me, and a figure stepped out.
My face was covered by my scarf, except my eyes, as so in case the dude was some crazy person.
"What are you doing out here in the cold?" the man with a husky voice asked me.
    "I-I've b-been t-trying to l-look for a p-phone." I stuttered.
"Come with me, I have a phone that you can use, and so you can get out of this hectic weather!" he chuckled as I followed him onto the snowmobile.
I became extremely lightheaded, as I had to close my eyes so I wouldn't get a major headache.
We soon arrived, as he offered to carry me into his cabin, because he probably knew that I was in no condition to be walking.
This mysterious person was so kind and so gentle.
I'd rather be staying with this stranger person than Gabe, to be honest.
As he carried me inside, my eyes had finally stopped flickering, and I fell asleep in his arms.
    ҳ̸Ҳ̸ҳ
My eyes slowly opened, as I yawned obnoxiously loud.
The cabin was similar to the one that Gabe took me too while I was asleep, but it was way better.
"Morning sleepy head." he greeted as he sipped a cup of freshly brewed coffee.
He chose to remain mysterious, as we started talking more, because he wouldn't show his face once while chatting with me.
"So, what's your name?" I asked with courage, desperately wanting to find out who this guy was.
    "What's yours?" he questioned.
"I asked you first." I teasingly said, secretly rolling my eyes that he was stalling.
    "The name's Dylan."
I gasped lowly as he said the last word as it couldn't really be him, could it?
He finally turned around, laughing more a bit as he saw my reaction to him saying that.
"I know, I'm handsome. Now take that scarf off your face and tell me your name so I know what you really look like." he demanded politely.
I hesitated, but then took off the scarf slowly, his mouth turning into an "o" shape.
"Sierra? Is that you?" he gasped.
    "Yup...surprise."

Gabe shrugged, as if doing that was absolutely nothing.
I clenched my fists in anger, as my eyes twitched madly, and the color of my eyes fumed with fury.
I was furious, and my first reaction was to splash hot chocolate onto his face.
"F/CK! What the heck Sierra?!" he yelled, as he ran around the small cabin, hitting multiple things, since he covered his face with his hands.
After a while, he finally managed to find a cold compress, and his eyes were red and squinted.
    "O-okay, I p-probably d-deserved t-that, I'm s-sorry." he stuttered.
"Whatever, is there any cable here? Or wifi?" I mumbled, grabbing a wooden spoon and whacking the mini TV near the door multiple times.
He rolled his eyes. "We're in a cabin all the way in the hills, of course we don't have those."
I groaned loudly as I started freaking out.
"What am I supposed to do here when I can't watch videos, go on the internet, listen to music, communicate with other people?!" I shrieked.
"Umm, you have me." Gabe muttered, annoyed that I didn't even consider him as a option.
Psh, and he thinks that I forgot about him accidentally.
"Ugh, aren't you going to do anything?" I asked, clenching my fists.
"Why? We're safe here until the storm clears. Don't you care about that we have everything we need? I can't believe I'm saying this, but who cares about wifi and cable." he murmured.
While he was blabbering on and on, a thought popped into my head.
I turned to Gabe, widening my eyes. "Christmas is in a couple of days! How am I going to be on the plane back home on time?" I worried, biting my fingernails.
"Well, maybe your Christmas this year will be romantic get-away, up in a cabin in the snowy hills of London, cuddling by the fire with that special someone." he soothingly said.
"With those hot vampire guys?!" I asked sarcastically.
    "Haha, very funny." he joked.
I sighed deeply and went through his other bags that he had brought, and I had an idea when I saw all this snow gear.
I put on a light green turtleneck under a warm navy blue jacket, with skinny jeans and snow pants, along with a red and white scarf and toque.
I stuck my feet in cocoa brown UGG boots as I slid on some hot pink gloves.
"Where are you going?" Gabe asked slowly as he raised both eyebrows at me, while I was shoving everything I could find into one of his bags.
"If you're not going to do anything, then I'm going out to find somebody with a phone or a car or just something to get me out of here!" I hissed.
I heard him yell my name a couple of more times, but it was too late.
I was already out the door, and he knew that he would get frostbite if he ran after me without proper snow gear, and I took it all.
After about 10 minutes, I was already exausting as each step I took, my foot would sink into the soft, white snow.
As I looked up, I realized that the sun was slowly going down.

As soon as Dylan left, tears slid down on my face, making my mascara smear.
"It's okay, you don't need him." Gabe whispered as he craddled me in his arms, while kissing my forehead gently.
I elbowed him in the chest, as I jumped out of his arms.
"This is all your damn fault, he was the only guy that I ever loved, and you just had to be the jock and swoop in for the kiss." I snarled, throwing multiple pillows at him.
"It was for the best Sierra." he said, getting a bit angry that I was blaming all of this onto him.
He soon left me alone, doing who knows what.
"Here, I made this for you." he calmly murmured into my ear, as he handed me a mug of nice, hot chocolate, with mini marshmallows swirling around on the surface.
I took a sip, and proceeded to slurp it all as he ran his fingers through my hair.
My eyes soon began to open and close repeatedly, and the next thing I knew, I dozed off to a peaceful, heavy sleep.
    ҳ̸Ҳ̸ҳ
My eyes slowly opened, as I roared a yawn as loud as a grizzly bear's.
After 10 minutes, being the lazy person I'm proud to be, I finally got up to take a dump.
I soon realized that this wasn't my dorm.
The walls were wooden, and the fireplace was still blazing with red and orange flames.
    Where was I?
I wrapped myself with the blanket that I was sleeping with and proceeded to go outside.
I immediately slammed the door, since a huge gust of snow attacked me as I opened it.
Cr/p, there was a snow blizzard.
I had remembered watching this on the weather channel, but I didn't believe it, since their other predictions have been false.
I immediately kicked from behind as I felt a hand touch my back.
"Sh/t Sierra! It's just me!" Gabe shouted, as he dropped the pile of logs that he was carrying onto his foot, making him wince.
"W-what? Where are we?" I asked, freaking out.
"Don't worry, we're going to have to stay here a couple of days, the roads are blocked so there's no way we can drive back to the campus!" he assured me, putting a cold compress on his foot, even if it was freezing outside.
"How did we get here?" I hissed.
"Y-you f-fell asleep on the c-couch, and I-I thought you'd like it here." he said softly, with an unconvincing smile.
"Why did you bring me here? You could have just left!" I said slowly, still not believing him.
He shrugged, finally running out of excuses.
I sighed deeply as I went through his duffle bag for a sweater to put on.
As I dug around in there, I found a bottle of smashed up pills, as I immediately became suspicious.
I read the label, and I gasped with disgust, as it was another one of his plans to trick me.
"You put sleeping pills in my hot chocolate, didn't you?"

    Chapter 17
    Sierra's P.O.V.
Three days has passed, and Gabe still wouldn't leave me alone.
He was very determined to get me back.
It's also been very awkward back at the dorm, since I've decided to ignore Angie so I don't humiliate her every time we argue, since my insults are ten times better.
I was in my room, wearing sweatpants and an oversized basketball jersey, as the door rang.
"Get it!" Angie shouted from the living room, reading on the floor.
"Why don't you? The door is right there, you gotta learn to get off your butt before it gets bigger than it already is." I smirked as I opened the door.
    I groaned in frustration.
"How did you find my dorm?" I snarled at Gabe, who was standing there with a bouquet of roses.
"Angie told me, we needed to talk, and you can't storm out of your own room!" he said.
"You have 5 minutes." I muttered with clenched teeth.
"Angie, would you mind giving us some privacy?" Gabe asked as he gave her a wink.
"But I was going to make popcorn for this action." she pleaded sarcastically.
    "Get out." I mumbled.
"Shut up, you can't tell me what to do." she hissed as she went into her room.
I sighed in disgust. "What do you want now?"
"I want you to dump Dylan and go back out with me." he said simply.
I laughed a bit. "Now you're demanding instead of begging? Sorry, but that won't work."
"Why can't you just take me seriously?" he grunted.
I clenched my fists. "I'll take you seriously when you leave London."
Gabe groaned in frustration and slapped his forehead. "Ugh fine, I'm done trying to beg for you back!"
    "About time." I murmured.
"It's time to finish what I started when you dragged me away that day." he said softly.
He then tugged me closer to me and started sucking on my neck.
I gasped, as he knew that was what we always did to end our "perfect" dates.
"Gabe, stop." I whispered, practically moaning.
He didn't and proceeded to go to my cheek, and onto my lips.
    I didn't budge, nor I didn't push away.
It's like I wanted to kick him in the nuts, but I didn't want this to stop.
I saw a figure walk in as they slammed the door shut.
I immediately pushed him away, but he held onto me, so we both fell to the couch, laying on top of each other.
"What the f/ck is going on here?!" Dylan shouted, as he dropped a perfectly good box of cake.
"I know this looks really bad, but I promise you, I never meant for this to happen!" I shrieked, wrapping my arms around his waist.
Dylan then stepped away, leaving my arms swinging to my sides.
"Save it, I knew there was something fishy going on between you and Gabe." he growled.
My eyes started watering, as I shook my head multiple times.
"Please don't say what I think you're going to say." I whispered, with my voice cracking.
He looked at me sympathetically, but then proceeded to open his mouth to speak.
"I'm breaking up with you Sierra."

I stood there speechless, and I couldn't think straight.
"Well, that's nice, but I just don't feel the same way." I said softly, with my voice cracking.
I pushed him aside as I speedily walked away to my next class.
My heart was beating like a drum, it was so loud that I thought that other people could hear it.
Why am I getting so worked up over this?
He's just my ex, he's nothing to me.
I would never forgive lying sleazebags like him, I should have known that he was an unfaithful jerk from the beginning.
Plus, I have Dylan, and I couldn't have wished for anybody better.
As I walked into the classroom, I secretly rolled my eyes, since I had an assigned seat next to Angie, who was glaring at me.
"What's wrong Sierra? It looks like you looked at yourself in the mirror and stuck your head in the freezer!" Angie snickered, thinking it was a good comeback.
I sighed deeply, I wasn't even going to bother.
After the bell, Gabe shortly walked in, talking to the teacher about his "school assignment".
Being the trickster he is, he probably memorized the schedule I told him over text and begged the school office to have the exact same schedule, so he won't feel "lonely".
He immediately spotted the seat right across from me.
Before he could sit there, I stuck my leg out and blocked the seat, kicking his butt away with my neatly polished shoe.
    "Sorry, seat's taken." I smirked.
"I'm not giving up on you, and that's a promise." he mumbled, sitting all the way in the back.
As the day went on by, I met with Dylan for lunch.
I got macaroni & cheese, french bread, sliced peaches, and vitamin water as I sat with him at an empty table in the corner of the cafeteria.
"So, you never did tell me how you know that Gabe guy." Dylan brought up randomly.
    "O-oh, he's j-just a classmate f-from my o-old school." I stuttered, I wasn't good at making up stuff under pressure.
"Sierra, I know you're lying. You stutter and bite your lip." he chuckled.
This boy really did know me.
I tapped my fork against the table rhythmically. "Okay fine, Gabe used to be my...boyfriend."
"O-oh." Dylan mumbled, regretting bringing up the subject.
    "Is someone jealous?" I teased.
"Of course I am, you wouldn't exactly like me hanging out with my ex-girlfriends, would you?" he snapped with the envy in his tone obvious.
"Ok, ok. Sorry." I muttered, jabbing the fork into my peaches.
"I'm sorry. I just don't want anyone to take you away from me."

    Sierra's P.O.V.
    Are you seriously kidding me?!
How in the world did I bump into my ex-boyfriend on another continent?
"So Angie, I'm guessing you're going to be showing him around?" Dylan mumbled, which made the entire class snicker.
"Okay class, that's enough." the teacher said, while raising an eyebrow.
As soon as Gabe looked our way, I immediately buried my face with my hair, my head looking like a huge blob of poop.
I grunted lowly as Angie sat right behind me, and there was a empty chair beside her, so Gabe took the seat right to her.
"What's wrong?" Dylan asked as he tapped my shoulder.
I flipped my hair over my shoulder as Angie groaned loudly from behind me.
"You hit me with your tangled, unconditioned hair Sierra." Angie muttered, as she laughed a bit, thinking that she was funny.
"Sierra?" I heard Gabe say, who leaned over to get a closer look of me.
I regretfully nodded, as I looked away.
"I-I d-didn't think y-you would be at this school!" he stuttered, happy that he found me.
"Well, I am." I said coldly.
I looked over at Dylan, who was staring at the both of us, wondering how we know each other.
After an hour long of pointless lectures, class was over.
"Umm, I'll see you later." I smiled and gave Dylan a peck on the cheek.
"I can walk you to your next class, mines is just next door." he suggested.
"That's okay, I have to use the uh, bathroom." I lied.
"Well, I can always follow you into the bathroom, signs are just signs." he winked as he walked away. I scanned the crowd for Gabe, and he was talking with Angie.
From behind, I managed to tug his arm from behind and pull him away from the crowd.
"Why the f/ck are you here? Don't tell me this is for school, they wouldn't send a barely passing kid all the way to England!" I hissed.
    "I-I a-asked your p-parents, since t-they still t-think we're together. I b-begged them that I m-missed you badly and n-need to see you." he stuttered.
"You freaking asked my parents to send you here? What kind of d/ucebag asks for a favor from his ex-girlfriend's parents?!" I snarled.
"I needed to see you, and I dont want to deal with regrets." he said confidently.
"You should have thought about that before you cheated on me, idiot. Plus, who needs me when you have b/tchy Angie?" I retorted.
Suddenly, he pulled me in close and started nibbling in my ear, which I used to love.
    "I don't want Angie, I want you."

It was so amazing, I felt fireworks were going off in my head, and I really missed his soft, tender lips that fit perfectly against mines.
I can't believe it, I finally said I love you to a guy.

"Ugh, whatever! You two enjoy each other, but you better watch out!" Angie snarled as she zoomed out of the room, slamming the door shut.
We chuckled a bit, as we went back to having an intense make-out session, and it felt so right.
Sadly, we had to stop since class was starting in 10 minutes.
    Ugh, school.
"So, we're a thing again?" Dylan mumbled, as our foreheads were pressed against each other.
"Of course." I giggled, breathing heavily.
His eyes lit up like he did the day he asked me out.
"I'd love to go to the dance with you." I answered quickly, as I gave him a long kiss on the lips.
He smiled happily as he took my hand.
"Let's go to class shall we?"
    ҳ̸Ҳ̸ҳ
As we were holding hands, I could hear all the whispers about us.
    "They're back together?"
"Didn't he cheat on her with that hot les, Cherrie?"
"I bet they did it last night at her dorm."
I clenched my teeth at the last two comments, as we walked into History together, shocking more random people I didn't know.
I groaned as I remembered that Angie was in this class.
I sat in the corner with the window right beside me, as Dylan took the seat right next to me.
Dylan and I just talked, and it felt good for him to be mines again.
As the bell rang, Angie walked in sassily, eyeing at me.
But she wasn't alone; she was with a guy that I couldn't see the face of.
I shrugged it off as it was probably a new kid.
Hah, sucks for him, he picked the wrong person to show him around, since she'll probably just use him to make Dylan and I jealous.
The teacher ringed the bell as the class quieted down.
"We have a visitor from America, and he's going to be here all week to observe what schools in the U.K. are like!" the teacher cheered as everybody became interested.
Dylan and I become alerted, as it might be somebody that we knew!
    "Everyone, please welcome Gabe Dawnall!"
