Placing Bets on Tomorrow
Stay awake for one more night,
ill preten that im okay.
Everyone says ill be alright. But im dreaming
of things bigger tha you know, would it hurt
for me to make it? Would it hurt for you to let this go?
But its cold where im going and i hope that youll be safe,
youll feel better when im leaving, youll feel better when
the pictures fade. Ill be waking up and thinking about the times
i spent at home, youll be waking up and thinking how it feels to be alone.
Congratulations on achieving, but id rather be believing
that the words you said were for the best {id rather be left out} then
pretend that im perfect when you say that this is worthless, pointless
conversations make it worse. I hope you know its cold where im going
