I know this quote isn't amazingly beautiful, but its a cute little love story I thought of in class today.
I think its worth reading...
So there was this girl, and a boy. They both loved each other and cared for each other deeply. Finally, the boy goes right up to the girl and tells her he loves her. She obviously told him her feelings too, like how she loved him to and things like that. So to keep there love strong they told each other all they're secrets, all they're fears, all they're dreams and so on. After they have told each other everything they wanted too keep their love very strong, so the girl suggested they build a forever-lasting river to prove that they loved each other. Each day, the girl would continue to dig and make the river longer. Each day, the boy would bring water too fill up the river. They boy filled it with this beautiful blue water and the girl made some curves and turns because they say that what lies beyond those turns are always exciting and new. They did this everyday, they were in love.
But one day, the boy didn't show up to bring the water. The girl had her doubts, but she continued digging that day. The next day, he wasn't there. The next day, he wasn't there again. The girl continued to dig the river anyways because she still loved him.
Finally, the boy came back. He talked to the girl, laughed with her, smiled with her. But something was wrong, she felt like she was a stranger to him or something. She wanted to ask him where he had been, but she was to afraid. He had a different personality, it was making the girl more and more upset. He said "I'll see you later..." and left on that note, something was wrong. She thought the worst. She thought: Does he not love me anymore?
She still loved him.
She continued to build the river with its turns and what not. Her good friend asked her why she continued if she thought the boy no longer loved her. She girl said "Because, I still love him and we promised we wouldn't stop unless we no longer desired each other. I haven't stopped loving the boy; I don't think I ever will, even if he does not love me anymore. I have to continue."
Her good friend told her there was no use doing this, especially if nobody was filling it with water, but the girl refused to stop. The next day, there was new water in it. Someone had put more water into the river. The girl was so confused, and the boy was nowhere to be found. The girl, as usual, continued on the river that day. Again, new water was in the river the next morning. They girl was so confused and upset. She looked for the boy, but he was nowhere to be found. So even though the boy wasn't with her, she loved him. And she continued on that river everyday, and everyday there was new water in the river.
You see,
The boy was looking for even better, bluer water those few days while the girl wondered where he was. He wanted it to be a surprise, when he returned to find the girl acting different he thought she didn't love him anymore and felt like a stranger to her. He wanted to ask her why she doesn't love him anymore, but was to scared. So he played it cool. And he couldn't tell whether the girl was still digging the river because of the river's so many turns. So every night, he would go down to the river and cry over the river so that his tears would add some more water into it. Every night, for the rest of his life;
He still loved her.
Love is stronger then you think, never give up. ❤
