you've counted all your flaws from head to toe, making yourself feel worse. cried becasue of all the comments people blurt out, actually hurt? cried because your family is dysfunctional and never understands you. they tell you to stop complaining,that you have it so much better than kids in africa, even though they don't understand your life either,you dont want to feel like an attention seeker,so you bottle everything up.

Being an atheist is okay.
Being an atheist and shaming religion and spirituality as silly or not real is not okay.
Being a Christian is okay.
Being a homophobic, misogynistic, r.acist, or otherwise hateful person in the name of Christianity is not okay.

It doesn’t make sense to call ourselves ugly, because we don’t really see ourselves.
We don’t watch ourselves sleeping in bed, curled up and silent with chests rising and falling with our own rhythm. We don’t see ourselves reading a book, eyes fluttering and glowing. You don’t see yourself looking at someone with love and care inside your heart. There’s no mirror in your way when you’re laughing and smiling and happiness is leaking out of you. You would know exactly how bright and beautiful you are if you saw yourself in the moments where you are truly yourself.

unless your teachers are abusive a.ssholes there is no fcking reason to disrespect them
they are literally trying their hardest to get you an education
teachers have every right to complain about rude students or the amount of papers they have to grade because their salary is low as sh.t
