To all those who want to read this:
I have had depression for the past year or so. I never sought help from anyone, my parents don't even know. Yes I understand that I should probably tell someone but when I started to tell my parents I burst into tears and they told me to get over myself.... that was not the best idea. But, slowly I have begun to help myself recover. I signed up for confirmation class at my episcopal church thinking it would help, it really did. I have slowly begun to recover. Things are just much better now. Yes, I have thought of suicide and yes i have cut myself before, but now I don't know why. Things are just so much better when you focus on the positive things in life! Part of my depression was my self esteem issues. so to help improve that, I started wearing my glasses again. I can't see very well but because I thought I was way too ugly with the glasses on I did not wear them and gave up most of my distance judgement just so I can be pretty. I have begun adjusting myself to the glasses look and have started to like it more and more. I hope that whoever reads this, and is going through what I went through, will take my story to heart.

When I was in 5th grade I started my own charity
and recently I tried to get my school to help support one of my projects. Turns out, because one of the teachers at the school raised over $25000 for an animal shelter and not for the school, my school has banned all fundraising that does not benefit the school. Favorite if you think this is wrong.
