At a hockey game,
One guy who used to be on my team kept complaining that he was cold
& since were friends he kept asking me if he could wear my sweat-shirt
& all i could think was dude I'm a girl , you wearing my sweat-shirt would be weird
I think I'm right aren't I ?
Or is that a double standard?

Snow
is cold ,it causes allot of problems & it tastes a little bitter
but at night with all those bright lights
you have to admit it's a beautiful disaster.

I went inside & opened it .
& to my surprise I found the locket you bought me.
Which means the day I threw it in the Ocean , you went in & saved it.
& Now I'm home alone staring at the picture holding it close to to my heart
as the memories come rushing back.

I always did what my mommy said , never talked back to my elders
Picked up my toys when i was asked and even ate all those yucky foods.
& when i went to see Santa that year and
asked him for my gift and he laughed right in my face
