The New Me
Chapter 1
Addison's P.O.V
*beep beep beep* my alarm clock went off. Reaching over for my glasses i put them on and glanced at the time 7:30 it read, sighing i walked downstairs and made myself breakfast. My mum was at work and my dad was in LA for some business trip again. My brother Greg was probably at one of his friend's house. Most nights he stays up partying and comes home late. Unlike me, greg's popular. After breakfast, i went upstairs, and put my uniform on. I took a look at myself in the mirror. 'ugly, fat, nerdy, disgusting' all those words ran through my head. Hopefully today would be the last of those words.

Through my music i could hear some gigling. Pausing it i looked up to see Hannah and Grace approaching the bus stop. Hannah is the school's 'popular' girl, and Grace is one of her biest friends. I quickly looked back down at my ipod and pretended i didn't see them. Soon enough though, they approached me " Oh, look who's here! Can't you just die? I hate seeing your face everyday" Hannah said twirling her bleached blone hair, with a disgusted look on her face. I've got to admit, I did flinch a little at how cold and heartless her words were, but I tried my best to act like i didn't hear her.
Ten minutes later, the bus came, i went in and as usual sat in the corner alone. Once we arrived at school,the chatter was loud, everyone was excited. It was our last day in year 10, and also my last day at this school. I'm still in shock that mum agreed to me changing schools. *flashback* "but mum! I don't like the teachers"okay, that was a lie, i couldn't tell her the truth! She'd panick and feel bad for me. "The teachers at this school are perfectly fine Addison!"She had replied. "No! I don't even learn anything! my grades have dropped!" Okay, so maybe i had also purposely dropped my grades, but what mum doesn't know can't hurt her.. right? "ugh! Fine! But that means you have to drive yourself everyday. I smiled "sure! i love you mum!" giving her quick hug and walked out of the room with a massive grin on my face. *end of flashback* The school day passed pretty quickly, and before i knew it i was on the bus, going back home.
When i got home, to my suprise my dad was back. "Hey Addie, how was school" he asked. "Hi dad! good, how was your business trip?" "good." he replied, but for some reason his smile seemed fake, something was up. I walked out of the room, looking for mum. She was in the kitchen, on the phone.
Teaser:"Addison dear, how much of that did you hear?" "Enough." i replied stomping upstairs to my room.
