The Reality of Life
Isabella and Kimberly were like sisters.
So bonded,so close
IT was rare to see them apart.
No one could say something about one without asking about the other.
Two peas in a pod.
But once Larry stepped in, things went downhill.
Larry was like an M&M sweet on the outside but once you see what’s inside,
It’s dark.
Eventually Kimberly bit down into the love enjoying the sweetness of the coating
Where all the color and beauty was.
After a while, she saw the negative side of Larry.
He became the cause of her frowns,
The cause of her tears.
Their feeling about each other were like a light switch,
On and off, off and on.
Eventually she decided to leave it on off
and the darkness stayed with both.
Isabelle knew what was going on,
She did her best to defend her friend.
Sometimes though,
It wasn’t enough.
Until a new boy , Chris, sparked out of the blue
Right before Kimberly’s eyes.
Isabelle felt uneasy and sad
as the beautiful couple went along their own ways.
Isabelle was feeling regret
as Kim seemed to spend more and more time
with another boy.
She was wondering what would happen if this kept going.
Isabelle knew she was probably overreacting
Kimberly is like the peanut butter to her jelly.
But no one can be too sure about the future.
Her other friend, Salina, assured it was to erase Larry from her mind.
Isabelle considered this,
yet a deep feeling in her heart was still making her worry.
It’s still unsure to her what is to come.
But let’s hope for the best to come.
