The one thing I love the most is opening a brand new hard covered book,
settling into bed under 4 blankets, and reading a love story.
Smelling the pages as I flip through them.
When I read, I escape this world I feel so alone in,

Have you ever felt forgotten?
Like everyone around you can't see you? Like people avoid you? Exclude you? Or just forgot you were there? It's the worst feeling possible. Watching everyone make nice all around you and not being part of any of it. You see people writing their names together surrounded by hearts and smiley faces, promising a friendship that lasts forever. And yet, your name is never there. You hear people making plans for Friday night, the Saturday night sleep over, but you're never invited. You stand on the outside looking in, catching bits and pieces of crazy memories that you've never witnessed. You sit at home alone listening to your music while holding your phone close. Hoping. Waiting. Wishing that someone, ANYONE, would think of you and text you. But you're always sadly disappointed in the end. You try to start a conversation, but only get the cold shoulder, or a wicked look of disbelief and are left there looking like a lost soul. And every night, you lay there in bed with the covers up to your chin, your iPod playing your favorite song, fighting to hold back that one little tear, and just think to yourself...
What's wrong with me?

I may not laugh at everything, some things just aren't that funny.
I don't always get what I want, I just don't have the money.
I complain about a lot of things, especially you.
But please forgive me, my skies aren't always blue.
