time doesn't freeze...
l the sunsets in the world
All the stars in the sky
All the friends you have
All the places left to go
It's amazing how time doesn't freeze
how one can die and go to heaven
and leave everything they knew and once loved behind
how when they die it seems to be in peace
but their friends and family are left shattered
broken, left with nothing to do but, slowly get up, pick up the pieces,
and do their best to move on.
this is the hardest part
moving on.... when death can destroy anyone
Because that one person that changed you life,
that gave your life meaning,
that one person that was always there anytime you needed them, and
that one person you have said since you could remember
"I don't know what i would do or where i would be without you in my life"
well now you have to learn how to live without them,
how to make your life good all on you own.
NO its not fair but... who ever said life was fair?...
In the mean time life goes on
the sunsets keep coming
the seasons keep passing
before you know it a year has gone by
then two, then three, then four, and often even five
but it still feels like yesturday
even when a lifetime has gone by
how do you know your moving on, coping,
or have learned to live without your loved one
when inside you remember the good and the bad times
and you still suffering on the inside but yet show a smile on the outside
to stop the tears from showing.....
well the answer would be
the only way to know
is when you can recall all the memories, feel their presence in your life and smile
when you say life is good right now and not worry about who is going to ruin it
when your faith and hope are stronger than ever before
and when you can trust God with your life and never be mad but believe its all part of his plan
and when you know you will someday be with that person again and appreciate life on earth!!!
because time doesn't freeze for tragedy
sunsets keep coming and seasons pass
families grow and friendships never get old
there are many places yet to go and more to discover
these things as well as faith give life meaning
