Too Good To Be True Chapter One
My friend Mikayla and I were walking down the hallway at school when she hit my arm, “Kelsey! That’s them!” she looked towards two beautiful boys. “Who exactly are they?” I asked her. She looked at me as if I had killed her dog. “Um hello do you live under a rock? They’re the twins, Will and Jake, they just moved here.” She explained. “They’re…good looking” I said. Mikayla didn’t say anything but she just looked at me suspiciously. She isn’t exactly the type of person who holds anything back. “Mikayla, don’t you dare!” I said. It was too late. “I call Jake!” She said before she ran to catch up with them. “Hey my friend thinks you’re cute.” She said to will. “Who exactly is your friend?” He smiled. Mikayla turned around and pointed at me, I tried to hide but he had already seen me. Will looked at me and smiled before walking over to me. Oh no, I thought, I instantly got nervous considering the fact I couldn’t hold a conversation for more than 2 minutes. “Hey I’m Will.” He introduced himself. “Yeah I know.” Why would I ever say that I sound like a total creep now he isn’t gonna wanna talk to me. He must have noticed my reaction to my own stupidity because he laughed. “So what’s your name?” he asked. “Kelsey” I said. “So is it true?” he asked seriously. I stopped dead in my tracks thinking he had found out what I had done last summer. “Oh no” I accidently said out loud. “So you don’t think I’m cute?” he teased. “Oh uh yeah of course I do.” I said quickly. I don’t know what I would do if my secret ever got to him.
