if somebody dies
chapter 1~
I woke up crying, but I had no idea why. My eyes adjusted to my surroundings. I was in my room, as always, but something felt different. Like when you know something is missing, but you can't put your finger on it. I shrugged it off though, and turned off my screaming alarm clock. I stood up and wiped my hazed, blue eyes. Today's Monday, which means I have another week of school to go through. After getting ready for school, I ran downstairs to see if my bus was there already. And, like usual, it was driving away as soon as I opened the door. Typical. I didn't care that much though, I hated the bus. I hate a lot of things. I started off down my driveway to walk to school. I put my headphones in and blocked out the rest of the world. When I arrived at this hell hole, oops, I mean school, I walked to my best friend's locker where she usually is. But there was no Sarah. What? No she is always there. I checked the bathroom near her locker to see if she was doing her make up or anything. Nothing. She probably just slept in or something, stop worrying! I continued on with my day and noticed that she wasn't in any of my classes either. She's probably just sick, I assured myself. I shot her a quick text to ask her what was wrong but I didn't get a reply. That's it, I'm going to her house. She's always had perfect attendance, so she really must be sick. After school was over I walked to her mansion of a house, which wasn't far from the school.
Yeah, she was rich, got good grades. Let's just say she is perfect. And everything a teenage boy would look for in a girl. I, however am the total opposite of Sarah. I get average grades, I don't dress 'fashionable', and I sure as hell am not pretty. Oh, and I'm the school's number one victim to be bullied. If you know a bully, I will bet huge amounts of money that they've bullied me. But it's okay, they almost fully stopped after Sarah and I became friends. Since she was so popular and everything. She isn't the kind of stuck-up, snobby kind of popular either. She was nice to everybody and wouldn't judge anyone by the way they dressed. It does get awkward though, when she gets invited to sit with other popular people, and she refuses to sit unless I do. Everyone gives me weird looks and I can tell they're whispering about me when I turn around.
After walking to her house I opened the huge black door and walked in. Her dad works during the day, so I knew he wouldn't be here. I called her name a couple of times and got no answer. I went upstairs to her room and opened the door. To my surprise, the bed was neatly made and the house was empty.
