well on the plus side
maybe wherever we move, we'll get good internet
and eventually my mom is going to get me a phone because if we're on uncertain times we don't want to be without contact of each other
which will make me feel safe k that's literally the only reason i want a phone (there's other factors that would be good but not necessary)

It all started when I tripped; falling backwards, with no one behind me to catch me (or so I believed). My heart flip flopped; a small flood of panic entering my chest at the feeling of falling. God, I hated the feeling of falling; why do I have to be a klutz? But then I felt your arms under mine, catching me before I hit the ground. I didn't even know you; definitely had no idea what your name was. All I'd ever said to you was "watch, I'm gonna fall" (and I was right). And I thank you for being there, because that would have been a nasty fall.
And then so many things happened, so very fast: I learned your name, recieved your number (which I still have yet to call) and we talked. We talked about so much for what seemed like so long. And I fell in love. We began to date and it was so great. We held hands; you were my "man". But then I was "clingy" and you became distant.
Our story ended similarly to the way it began: with me falling. But this time, I ended up spwarled on my back on the cold, hard concerete, no warm arms to fall back on and my body broken as badly as my heart.

The other day at all region tryouts my friend saw this cute guy she'd seen last year at all region and anyway it turns out he's a saxophone player and i told her to ask him if he practiced safe sax and she was like nope so I told her I would (her response? "omg you actually have the balls to do that?!") and anyway when we saw him he was about to try out so we didn't say anything and then we saw him in her warm up area with a bunch of people so long story short we kind of stalked him until he was in the hallway and not around other people he knew and I asked him and he was like "yes, yes I do"
and I was like "so no unprotected sax?"
and he was like "nope"
and he told us his name and yeah it was kinda awkward after that because I hadn't thought of what to say after I asked him that whoops

We were on the bus coming home from all region try outs (he made second band, fifth chair! [he plays trombone]) and we were talking about choir and he was like "well I like to sing but I've been told I can't do it"
so I told him to sing for me and he sang Radioactive by Imagine Dragons and I was like "wow you're way better than some of the guys in choir" and he was like "aw thanks"
and then he started singing a system of a down song haha

Dear Julia,
I'm not sure how you became my best friend, it just kind of happened. I can tell you stuff that I can't tell other people. And thanks for helping me out with my Corey situation -- you helped me learn how to talk to him initially and you held me when I cried. And you listened to me when I was still upset over it and talking about how much I loved him even though you hate his guts. You're still my friend even when I say the weirdest things and gross you out.
You're one of the few people I let read my poetry and you don't judge me even though it's all super depressing. We don't talk as much as we should but we talk in Geometry and Choir all the time (okay, well, we pass notes and that's better than talking for me because I can word things better in notes) so we're getting closer.

I'll try.<3 You were there for me right after I got broken up with, when I was sobbing. After I'd run to you and you hugged me and then you went and got my stuff from the band room because, like an idiot, I left them in there but couldn't go back in there because of the tears trailing down my face that I would not let him see. Thanks for letting me cry without badgering me with questions about what was wrong because you knew.
You asked me if you should kick his butt and you said you'd get him back for me and I told you what locker number was his but you never did anything and I can understand because you've been busy but I still think we should do something to his locker. Or maybe not and I should let this old dog lie.

Several months ago this guy i kinda liked and I well we had this thing and anyway
he came up to me when I was going to my locker and he said "hello beautiful!"
and I blushed like crazy and he told me he'd looked up the meaning of my name (Callie) and he was like the best thing ever
but then like next week he stopped talking to me and stuff and i found out he was a pothead
and idk why I wrote this but basically I'm glad that nothing actually happened between he and I and that Corey came around to kinda... well help me move on from nick because yeah.
but now I need another "corey" because Corey broke me ._.
