when people say that[cheerleading] isnt a sport..
i ask them how often they've thrown a hundred pound object in the air,
in a mini skirt and half a shirt,
tracked them with their eyes,
then caught them while screaming out understandable words.
how often do they have to be with the same girls for hours and hours,
while sweating and holding girls into the air
and having the coach yell at you for not looking good while doing it.
how often have they gone to practice with bruises and still had to be pushed to their limit,
come home often crying and sore
from jumping up into the air multiple times and
throwing themselves into the air for tumbling
all for a 2 and 1/2 minute routine.
