Getting over someone. It's not as easy as it seems. You can't just blink the feelings away like it never happened. I know it's hard. I know moving on is a struggle, but sometimes it's for the best. See, you're so used to havng them in your life, that when they're gone it's like a part of you is gone too. It's not easy, but you have to try.
When you like someone you're able to overlook anything. You can look past their flaws and still think they're perfect. There's no need to focus on their mistakes, their impercetions, their insecurities, or their fears. Those are the things you end up loving the most. They become this perfect little creature to you, that becomes ridiculously attractive in every way.
When someone wants to leave let them go. No matter how much you want to keep them you can't hold back someone who's feelings aren't there anymore. Because in the end you're only gonna get hurt when you realize that you were the only one fighting.
Eventually the fast text message responses will become slow. The long conversations will cut short. The attention they give you will become neglected. The comfort they give you will become something awkward. The time they have for you will become non existent. The feeling of being close to them will become distant. And then everything will come to an end, and you'll become strangers again as you were before. .
