Oh my gosh. I am really tired of this. People who are for gay marriage can talk crap about those who aren't and be obnoxious about it, but what happens when someone who ISN'T for gay marriage says something? They basically get told to kill themselves! Everybody has a right to speak, I get it. But guess what? I am a firm believer in Jesus Christ and the Bible. No one shoot me here, but I do not believe gay marriage is right. And I know you've "done your research" but so have I. And I think being a homosexual because of genetics is complete bull. Other very smart scientists disagree with it being genetic. Two equally intelligent scientists can say and believe different things. But hey, everyone has their own opinions. I'm kinda ranting here, sorry. The whole point behind me commenting is to say this:
You want people to respect your opinion and not have others who disagree with you to shove their opinions down your throat, correct? Please, PLEASE do the same for others. I have friends who are homosexual and I love them just the same. I don't condemn them to hell just because some over-dramatic Christian down the street does. Everyone has an opinion. Please don't hate someone else just because they disagree with you. I don't want to come across angry or mean, and I'm sorry if I do. I just constantly feel attacked by this. Not all Christians are the same, just like with any religion. I don't want to start a "comment war" or anything like that, I just wanted to share my feelings just as you have. reply

I understand the fact that gay people probably wont ever be able to get married in certain churches and i think that is okay because i hate people who shove beliefs down everyones throats. I do think the best solution, for now, is that gay people could get married in churches that allow it, and that all states and countries would be okay with it. I guess human society isnt just to that point yet. I'm from finland and last year we had the presidential elections and a gay man almost won! i was really rooting for him and it was a really close call. Maybe the world isnt ready for this yet... i love macklemore

I'm a Christian and I have nothing against it. I hate it when people stereotype. People can't help their emotions and feelings. We're humans. So please stop saying that all Christians hate gays. My friend is an atheist and he totally hates gays so get your facts straight. reply

I'm a Christian and my best friend is bi sexual. You make it sound like we all hate it but we don't. Hhonestly I don't support gay marriage but its not somethig that bothers me seeing as my best friend is bi. Were taught to hate the sin not the sinner so don't say that were all the same. And science is wrong about being born that way it's not I your DNA or anything like that its a choice people make based on what society deems to be acceptable and right. Gay people aren't bod gay it's a choice. Saying someone is born gay is like saying it's the spoon that made me fat; I chose to eat with the spoon and they chose it. reply

Ugh, Again with the "Christian" thing.. I'm a Christian and I support gay marriage 100% and people are making us all sound the same... We were talking about this in school today, and none of the people said they didn't support it because of the bible, Most of them just said it was nasty... Which is still stupid. reply

I'm a Christian and I support gay marriage..We're being stereotyped as if we're the bad guys. Some people will always disagree on some subjects- but not all of "these christians" are thinking what you wrote.. lol reply
