   We almost died today. that rip current pulled too strong. i got up on the rocks. i was out of breath. freezing. relieved. but the first thought that came to mind was 'sh/t! Abby's n the water!' you were saved by a man in a kayak. not me. i love you more than anything and knowing that i didnt do everyrhing possible to save your life is the biggest mistake i have ever made. thank god you're okay. if i could go back in time and re-live that moment, i would. just so i would be able to save you. and not some steanger who seemed ti care more about you at the time than i did. im so sorry abby.

   guys…im 13. going into 8th grade. my parents womt let me wear a bikini and everyone else wears them. my mom is understandimg but my dad seems to get mad whenever i bring it up. what do i do? i feel so insecure in my bathing suit now. but i cant return it cuz it was 40 bucks!!!!

    That night I walked home in the dark. I was only one month pregnant and I was all alone. I had no friends, and frankly, my parents didn't care about me. I was only 17, and look at me. My boyfriend just died because my bestfriend killed him. Well, my ex-bestfriend. I walked ino my house. I had stayed at the hospital all day, helping with cleaning up and packing his things up. I stepped into my house, shuting the door behind me, crying. Why? Why me? Why him? I took a deep breath. He told me he would always be with me, so I just had to wait. And that's what I did. For weeks and weeks. Eventually, those weeks turned into months. By now, I was 5 months pregnant. So far, Katie hasn't gotten an abortion because she was running and hiding from the police. Or so I thought. That night there was a knock on my door. I cautiously went to open it and saw three policemen standing at my door.
    "C-can I help you officers?" I asked, shaking.
    "You. Do you know a girl by the name of Katherine Blakely?" They asked me...Kaite...
    "Yes. I do. Why are you asking?" I asked them.
    "She was just found and arrested. She told us that she doesn't want her child to be born with a mother in jail, and is giving you full custody to her son."
    Oh. My. God. Bryce's son!
    "Y-yes. I'll take him." I said. "Wh-hen will he be born?" I asked, stuttering.
    "A few weeks we think. Good day now."
    "Bye." I responded, closing the door behind them. I was shocked and scared at the same time. I was actually going to have my appointment in a few hours to determine the gender of my baby.
    "Jessica?" I heard my name called. I got up and walked towrds the door, just about to find out if I was having a boy or a girl. I walked into the room and sat down on the bed. After a few tests, the doctor left and didn't come back for a while. I stared down at my big stomach.
    "Hi baby." I whispered, rubbing my belly. "How are you sweetie?" I asked. In return, I got a kick. I laughed. "You squished in there?" I giggled at myself for talking to a baby who doesn't even breathe yet. Then the doctor came in.
    "Hi." I said.
    "Hi..." The doctor started. "Well, your baby is a girl." I smiled. Just what I hoped. This was going to be great. Maybe I could start to rebuild my life. Even though Bryce told me he would always be with me, but he never came.
    "But..." The doctor said. "She will be bron with irregularities."

    Bryce sprinted out the door and down the street faster than I had ever sen anybody run. I sat there for a while. Then I decided to get up and chase after him. I ran, and tried to keep track of him, but ended up losing him. I figured he would be going to Katie's house because that was where she probably was. So I went there. When I arrived, I opened the door to find Bryce on the floor, blood spilling out of his arm, and Katie at the other end of the room holding a bloddy knife.
    "WHY DID YOU DO THIS?!?" I screamed at katie, tears falling from my eyes.
    "J-Jess, don't" I heard a faint whisper from behind me.
    "I can't just let you sit here and die." I said to Bryce. "You mean everything to me."
    "Now, Katie!" I yelled. "What was that for? What did he do wrong? I swear to god I'm gonna kill you!"
    "Do what you want." Katie smirked. "Bryce is over there dying now. He's not gonna be the parent of my baby anymore, so I can kill it if I want to."
    "I won't let you do this" I chocked out through my tears. "I-I won't!"
    "I picked Bryce up off the ground and carried him home, where I then called an ambulence.
    "Will he be okay?" I heard myself asking the doctor at the hospital.
    "I really don't know. That was a deep cut, and not many can survive that." The doctor replied. "Do you know how it happened?"
    "No." I lied. He couldn't know or Katie might hurt me too.
    "Okay. The doctor responded, walking away.
    I sat there in that waiting room for about an hour when the doctor came back in.
    "Jessica?" He called out.
    "Yes?" I said, standing up.
    The doctor waved me over into the hallway.
    "Look, I don't have any nice way of telling you this, but..."
    "but what?" I asked him, starting to cry.
    "He-he isn't going to make it."
    I fell to the florr crying, knowing that nothing could be worse. But that was before I saw Katie being wheeled in a hospital bed, ready to get an abortion.

    Today I saw the biggest smile in the world. But there was only one problem with it...it wasn't real.
    His name is Nathan. He is 8 years old. His father just died. We went to the Calling Hours. He looked up at me and said "Hello." And gave me a huge smile. "Hello." I replied. He then waved and said "Thank you for coming!" Then I left after saying "you're welcome!"
    I could tell it was all fake. The smile, everything. Earlier, he was pretending he had something in his eye because he was crying so much.
