Do you ever feel like
your voice gets lost in the crowd?
Your opinion is just tossed in with a billion others.
Other voices are overlapping yours and blurring out your words.
You may have some of the most inspirational thoughts
just waiting to be spoken but no one is willing to listen to just you?
Your message isn’t clear and gets interpreted wrong.
You start to think you don’t matter,
nothing you say will ever matter.
So, you don’t say anything at all.
You let everyone else talk.
You start listening instead.

I hate myself for
being so insecure
I’m always comparing myself to my friends,
family, and even strangers.
“Why can’t I have flawless skin like her?”
“Why can’t I be as toned?”
“Why can’t I have gorgeous hair like that?”
Why this, why that.
It brings me down every day.
People notice better looking people more.
I constantly have to do something to stand out from the rest
because my insecurities create the need to having
to compete even over simple things.

-Wanted more then they had
-Were friend-zoned
-Like a guy who's dating your best friend
-Fake a smile just so people won't ask
-Say 'I'm Fine' When you really want to cry
