The Classic Player ..
You two meet ; Online , through a friend , class , etc . He’ll flirt with you at first & you flirt back because you’re too foolish to see the lies behind his smile . He asks you for your number & Because you’re so hypnotized by his good ways with words , you give it to him without even thinking about it . He texts you for the first time , You’re so happy , you just can’t stop smiling . You think he’s actually into you .. You two have a flirty conversation & you get to know each other more . Then this becomes a habit & You’re getting texts when you wake up saying ‘Good morning(: ’ & Sometimes he adds on ‘ babe ’ or ‘ baby ‘ to the end .. You guys talk about how cute the other one is , he’ll tell you how pretty & Beautiful you are , how much he ‘ likes ‘ you , how much he wants to see you , how you’re his only girl , etc .. I can go on & on .. He will even feed you the line that he wants to become more than friends but he’s not quite ready for it , for whatever reason .. But you laugh it off & Agree , thinking that your time with him will come sooner than you know .. But then you will get to the point where the texts become less common . He doesn’t text you back right away , you don’t wake up to cute texts in the morning anymore . There is no more smiley faces , or fighting over who is cuter & There is no mention in how he wants to hang out with you .. Then the texts become nonexistent .. You’re just another number in the phone of his.. But every time your phone rings , you hope & pray its him , but it just ends up being a friend asking for a favor or a stupid question .. you have to fight the urge to text him everyday .. you get jealous seeing that his status is about him hanging out with other people .. Then you see him talking to other girl .. Same smile , same laugh , same body language , flirting , etc.. Finally , It clicks .. You realize how hes just using you & now he’s on to his next victim.. it all becomes real after that , & The pain just gets 100x worse .. You occasionally make eye contact in the hall , but its just awkward .. Making it seem as if you two never had anything , like you didn’t even exist , like nothing ever happened .. You’re just like strangers , just like two people in this world .. All those butterflies are gone & replaced with the feeling of heartbreak& Not feeling good enough .. That’s the worst part .. Knowing that he was everything to you , your first thought in the morning , the last before you fell asleep & the person that you always day dream about .. & To him , you were just another name in his phone .. & He wasn’t hurt at all , that’s all the matters though , right ? he got what he wanted .. Sounds about right , Am I correct .. ?
