So, where to start.. My name is Jamey and I'm currently a junior in highschool. I can be sweet if you choose to be sweet. Or, if you choose to be otherwise..well so will I. I have my best friends for life that get me through my rough spots, and i'll always be there for them as well. I don't particularly care for my school, so i'm doing my best to keep my grades up so a scholarship will be my one way ticket out of this rinky dink town. I want to be a neonatal nurse. My favorite thing to do is be in pageants. I don't get to as often as i like since they get expensive, but still. Animals are also a major part of my life. My newest and most precious additions are my baby goats named Ice and his cousin Sophie. I am a true southern belle with a true southern accent. I've been saved by the grace of southern charm. I am a Christian. I may not always have my life under control, but that's when i hand the wheel over to the man upstairs. I am me, and no one else. I'm the same 24/7, to your face and behind your back. Get to know me, nicely, and we may just become real good friends. :)

Okay, so it's been a lifetime since I've been on witty and apparently its changed alot. But this was my life line in junior high and I'm not sure how else I would've gotten everything off my chest. Everyone knows that's a pretty crazy time in life. Highschool I figured you would be a breeze.. You think you've found out who to trust and who to not trust and everything would be simple.. Well it may work that way, for a little while anyway. But the older you get, the more serious relationships with people get.. An between relationships with friends and with guys you like? Everything is so complicated. You wouldn't ever dare think any of your best friends would sleep with the guy you like.. But it happens. And it only makes the situation worse when the guy has been your bestfriend for over 3 years and means the world to you. Then you're left not knowing if you can trust anyone.. First how could he do that when he was always the one that made you feel better when you were hurt, never did I think he would be the reason i would need comforting.. Secondly, one of your best friends? One of the girls you'd sat up talking to at 2 in the morning over drama that had her upset. One of the girls you were always there for. Whatever happened to being trustworthy and treating others how you wanted to be treated? I know the world is a messed up place now a days but still.. The people you trust the most have to be the ones to disappoint you the most. It leaves you doubting everything they've ever told you an everything that anyone else tells you in the future. After all if they were that close to you that long and still lied to your face, why wouldn't everyone else. It's a shame it's come to that now.. Only trusting yourself because you're not sure that you can go through being hurt this bad again. But we all know you don't let everyone see how bad it's truly hurting.. You put on a happy face, say you're over it, and follow the routine. But at the end of the day when you're left by yourself? You have time to stop and think about all of it and wonder why you weren't the truth..

Okay, so maybe this quote isn't "pretty". Maybe it doesn't have a giant black circle around it or super-sized rainbow font. But that's not the point. It's easy to come on witty and look for the "pretty" quotes. But if you stop to think about it, everyone says witty is just like high school? Girls come on here for only the pretty quotes. Guys go to school and only look at the pretty girls. What I've come to realize is that at some of my roughest points, the quotes I've found that really help me aren't the ones that took 3 hours to format. They're the simple ones. Plain font, simple colors, no borders. The ones that were written straight from other's real life. The things someone is truly dealing with and lets me know i'm not the only one. So here's to the girls that keep their quotes simple and meaningful, because i know just like your simple quote caught my attention but i fell in love with it and memorized it practically. Some guy will one day take the time to notice me even if i don't take the time to try to look like Barbie.

Whatever happened to chivalry? Does it only exist in 80's movies? I want John Cusack holding a boombox outside my window. I wanna ride off on a lawnmower with Patrick Dempsey. I want Jake from Sixteen Candles waiting outside the church for me. I want Judd Nelson thrusting his fist into the air because he knows he got me. Just once I want my life to be like an 80's movie, preferably one with a really awesome musical number for no apparent reason. But no, no, John Hughes did not direct my life.
