"Hey Kenz." Lilli didn't seem so excited to see me. .
"Heeyy Lillii!!!" She gave me a halfway smile.
"Do you wanna come upstairs. . " I was trying not to let her little atitude get me down.
"Uhm . I guess."
She shimmied into my room after me in her white skirt with a golden belt in a cute holter and flip flops with sparkly jewels all over them and her hair in a high side ponytail with her bangs pulled back with her creamy white Chanel sunglasses. Compared to my sweatpants and Aerie Tank top, she looked like a model.
"So what's up.?" I sat down on my bed and started playing with my hair.
"TYLER LIKES YOU!" Tears were streaming down her face, this was the second time I'd ever seen Lilli cry in our 14 years of friendship. The first time was three years ago, when we were in 6th grade and Lilli's parents died in a hit and run accident. She now lives with her older brother Jason, he's 23 and her sister Emily who's 20. She had grown up a lot the past five years, she had to.

This was really bad, she'd had had a huge crush on him ever since after her parents died, when she turned boy crazy . But how could Tyler like me over Lilli? Lilli had straight perfect auburn hair that glistened in the sunlight, and looked cute every day. While my hair was curly and frizzy and crazy, the only way I could control my hair was by using hair gel and products to scrunch it. She was just naturally gorgeous, while I though of myself as OK, I wasn't anything out of the ordinary.
She pushed me away. Tears stung my eyes. I saw pure hatred in her eyes. "Lil, you don't seriously think this is my fault do you . . ?" She just gave me an evil glare that made my knees feel like jelly. "Lilli . . ?"
"It is your fault, if you weren't friends with him on Facebook, and didn't text him all the time and didn't go to Teegan's party last week and danced the whole time flaunting yourself, then maybe he wouldn't be caught under your SPELL!"
"WAIT, WHAT?!" I was beyond furious, MY FAULT? "So this is my fault, WE'RE FRIENDS LILLI, JUST FRIENDS, YOUR FRIENDS WITH SAM ON FACEBOOK! AND YOU TEXT SAM TOO, AND I NEVER EVER SAID ANYTHING TO YOU ABOUT TEXTING SAM AND BEING FRIENDS WITH SAM or ANYTHING." I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. " You know, I never 'flaunted' myself to anybody at Tee-" I was interrupted by a loud ear-piercing scream- " MCKENZIE! MCKENZIE! MCKEEENNZIIEE!! HELP ME" It was Ava! She sounded really upset, maybe she was just getting mad that I deleted the 'House of Anubis' on our DVR, gawd, she'd saved everyone, they had to go sooner or later. Then we heard more screams, louder more frightening screams, I bolted down the stairs. Fear welled up into my brain as I looked over the banister of the stairs. I screamed even louder than Ava had.
