so people don't see your comments and what your writing. because sometimes people don't want others to see your comments and such. so basically what they're both trying to say is make their comments private but let others see their quotes and their little 'about me' section. reply

hi steve, i have an idea similar to Alohaaa's. We should be able to make our accounts private to certain people. I think if they were completely private, it'd defeat the purpose of posting quotes and e verything but if we could just make it so certain people couldnt see our profile. I think it would be a good idea. thanks for readin anyway. reply

You're right that it would defeat the purpose of Witty being a giant database of quotes. Why would you share a quote only to have it hidden? The problem with hiding your profile from specific users is that your profile would be public by default and the people you are trying to hide from could just sign out and then look at your profile. reply
